Over 30 years ago as a lil kid I started collecting keys as a super easy hobby.

Over the years I have collected many many lost keys. all sort of keys. Big keys, small keys

Even simple keys(for toys) and even new keys and very old house skeleton keys.

What I did not know was at the time one of the keys I had was a police ANY key/universal key.

So anyway at age 27 I finally got my own place and willfully informed the apt management that I collect keys since I was a lil kid and if they ever have a person locked out of their apartment they can come running over to me for some help as I had so many I am sure one of them would work.

And I was right and a pretty lady came knocking on my door askign for help. I finally got her door open and the apaartment mgt told me to hand over all my keys and if I dont then I have to move out and leave...... Grrrr!!!!! it was a police officer who finally ended up getting and owning my key collection. I begged them and told them it was my lifes collection but they didnt care.

Seagate drives are noisy even when new and MTBF for a seagate is shorter than a WD drive.

So I do not know why WD would buy such bad drives.

Kinda reminds me when I was 14 in the 80's and went into a music store and started messing with the computers hooked up to midi interfaces and a sign on the C-64 said it was broken or something but the screen looked fine and so I did that poke command and the music software loaded up just fine and the store manager came rushing over and my mother just walked in and saw us talking -

without listening my mother instanlty apologised for me messing with the stuff but the manager thanked me for getting it up and running and I gave him the command to start the program.

Also our computer teacher was fired and I was put in charge of the tandy model 3/4 star network.

After leaving the music store my mother blushed saying "GOOD JOB!"

WHen your hard drive fails they do not replace it with a new one but with a refurbished hard drive either from anotehr return or a repaired hard drive.

I have learned anyway no matter what never get an OEM hard drive.

Always better to get a retail hard drive as they last longer.

AMD ATI combo will need a very good pc case.

Your average $20-$45 pc case will not be fitting for this combo.

So far the only thing halfway respectable for this would be an ANTEC-900 case.

I was a victim of the above thinking. I thought I could just get by with wonderful power supply but an el cheapo case and boy my pc rebooted several times due to heat issues even though I had 5 fans in it. threw out the case and bought the antec 900 and never looked back.

Ok so I deal with corporate images for new pc roll out for the company I work for.

Ok fine and dandy well those ghost images for the computer after a while get old and when you deploy these computers then they all want to do windows update... Ok I have no issue with that.

BUT! know this...

Before window update everything works per company specs then after window supdate then anything on our internal lan and mappings is destroyed.

How so you ask?

Well after the update the live search tool in IE is now replaced with BING! and

bing can not tell the difference between a mapped internal drive on our modern AD intranet.

So when software tries to connect to a remote interanet then the pc gets all messed up.

The issues goes away when I make google the default search tool.

Bing is bad! lesson learned? do not use Bing!

The only constant is the idiot manager who always brings home his laptop to get it infected by his children or wife then brings it to work and blames IT.

they change the security settings so often that even when we make our changes next week they say they have new and better settings and i go in and find my settings back at default as if thats their way to keep sharing our info with the advertisers.

What if one day packet inspection will lead to censoring any data containing the words of competitors. Companies would call that strategic manuvering and not some kind of silencing of communication. Companies will create and invent new terminology just to get their way for newer technology just in order for them to control it even though the rail they ride it on is the internet.

We should pass a law that states you can do what ever you want on your own networks but if you dare try to impress your technology to the internet as a whole then you should be fined and a class action lawsuit should be in order.

That would be like having the majority of cisco routers intently knocking off home routers made by linksys or dlink..... So it is easy to seee that in this regard captialism will fail the internet.

The internet is for all people and devices and nobody should discriminate hardware/software/communicationspeed over the internet.

To deny FCC this would mean the internet is not as we know it today.

By allowing companies this will be the further fracturing of their own ideology of what the internet should be but that should be the consumers choice and not the company.

Let the internet remain open. Anything less and you destroy a good thing.

I have seen a few videos on this where lightning just hits and glowing balls are flown outwards from the source of the hit.

Just go visit Google image search and type in ball lightning and you will see real

photos of it. it is not so much of a brain phenomenon as people think it is.

Since then Ive been through 3 wifi routers and 4 computers.

Also I format my pc once every 3 to 6 months.

So any data spooks may be looking for has been gone replaced thrown away drive plattters made worthless even to data recovery experts.

I am a spooks worst nightmare..... nothing around to incriminate me except to incite hate against Lars Vilks.

I'm 50/50 on this.

My mothers friend was from India.

He came here many years ago on H1B -VISA then after so many years living here he finally became an American citizen and got his job converted to full time.

Then his employer came to him and told him to train 5 other people from India and they would replce him and he would get very substantial bonus when they will let him go.

so he refused and he was fired.

This happend in Virginia and his situation has been in an article in the Washington Post.
