If you really want to be a tight wad then make all accounting people use a thin client so all activity is on the server and they can not delete anything and tracking can not be erased.
Trouble makers who get their computers on a monthly basis also should be prime candidates to use a thin client. repeat offenders of security risk should reread the company manual for the third and last time and 4th time fire them.
IT for its role in the matter should only back up company data and no restore of personal non work related files should be touched and should be considered lost to the client. If its not work related then its not your job to touch it. Once data restore has been made then remove local admin rights and only give client power user. Install server software that blocks all advertisements going into your network and install spam catching software.
I do agree with the ideology of GETTING OUT MORE. Sure yeah but lets say you are the outdoors type person and you are a causal gamer NOT A SERIOSU GAMER but just over the years since the inception of STEAM you have gathered a lot of TITLES.

Let's say that STEAM the company dies and the assests are sold off to non gaming companies.
Also lets presume I bought over $2,000 woth of games through steam.
At this point does STEAM then OWE me $2,000 or equivalent? Or will steam ex programmers who were the backbone of the company offer a future patch that lets players play online or offline without logging into the steam servers to make the login app pointless? STEAM employees need to think of their end time or think of downtime for the best case to support owners who purchased games through steam. I would be mad as hell if I had to repurchase $2,000 games only because STEAM was lazy to make logins not needed once the servers have been invalidated. If I ever hear steam executives say "Sorry guys but have a nice day!" If that day ever happens I say we gamers find their address where they live and fill their backyard pool with cement. and spray weed killer all over their lawn or do like that farmer did in europe and spray manure all over their front door.
If or when I buy something I alone am the sole supporter of that device.
If I am unable to repair something due to proprietary sofware then this lock in feature will just increase the overall cost of owning the device.
Since Locking down the bootloader was done we can only guess that this was not done at all with the customer in mind. Then Asus can charge any phantom rpice they want to come hell or high water.

What I miss the most about quality are the 1980's style polo shirts.
That is when they still had a tail to tuck in so nobody has to look at your cheeks and now today the tail of the shirt is just as long as the front! Then when you wash it the xtra large becomes a medium within 2 months of washing. So I stopped buying american stuff 100% just out of spite. The things they sell in USA are for short stubby people who have tow thumbs and wabble around the stores like ducks. I do not mind a shirt that is properly made then I do not mind spending an extra $10 for quality. My stores in my area used to sell nice high quality winter jackets costing $600. The type used to trek up Mt. Everest. But they stopped selling them and now nobody sells decent jackets that fit me and no I do not weigh 500 stones/pounds.
Clothing/car/video manufacturers no longer respect the vast varity people and sell only cookie cutter chinese size clothing. Funny enough I now only buy chinese videos the past 15 years. I just watch kungfu movies as they have more depth than todays movies besides that of the triology of JR TOLKIEN.

Currently the way FIOS is in my house normal TV volume is at level 56.
Now comes commercials and it sounds like volume is at 200.
I own a LG brand new TV
I also own a XBOX360 and a PS3 both gaming consoles and my ROKU device plays sound normally at volume 15 but FIOS TV normal is at level 56? No amount of resetting to facotry default is the NOT the issue and has nothing to do with my TV settings when all devices are at correct volume level 15 but FIOS needs to be boosted up to volume level 56?
The advertising industry has broken their trust with blaring commercial rude commercials.
But it is not just TV commercials but public access TV stations who do not know who to control loudness at all as if an amature is at the controls.

Ohhello hai this is microsoft and we see you bought an app but not from our store so we will remove it so you have to buy it from us instead.
Image a hack or virus/trojan that triggers this to totally remove all purchased apps from your pc.
I will purposefully find that app that communicates with the store and block it for good.
Imagine the amount of people fired from their jobs because they watched a political documentary.

Soon netflix will keep resetting user prefrences as much as facebook has so that soon you will have to OPT IN for security/privacy to hide from the world. Like most local govt now everyone wants everyone else to live in a glass house except for themselves. I do agree privacy was and still is a big deal but the idea of privacy has changed over the past 100 years.
did you know that when cities were just begun to be called cities when plumbing was not common yet we had what they called POOP trolleys. Horse pulled wagons would ride by each day and the unisex trollys had no stalls. You get up in them and do you business with the person next to you be they male or female as you sit to read the paper. But shhh!!! We would feel insulted to think this is was how humans used to do things today and would feel so shameful to do such a thing today.

Too bad for you these are Clean OS installs and they aren't messed up with third party crap.
They work perfect with the intranet until LIVE! or ASK get installed. Sometimes yahoo messes it up also.
So far making Google as default search engine everythign works fine with no issues.
Funny thing about these things that I noticed is that if my intranet is anything other than google then any intranet website visit gets messed up.
If I used LIVE! or the ask search then pretty much the computer is hosed.
Now only if they had the balls to only truly give an alternate search bar without messing up
communication with my intranet. I figure they do this as they want all relevant data to hoarding all key clicks. THey need to stop that and stick only with offering search and no other hidden crap they do not inform the end user of.
The other company I wished had a true product to sell.
I forgot the name of the company but the product they were designing was a new type of compression that allowed a person to zip up a DVD movie and fit it onto a floppy disk.
The spokesperson claimed they used 3D quantum mathmatics.
Many mathmatical geniuses complained that the data being compressed has to have some sort of output data to tell the program how to uncompress it and the output control data would get over large in the process of compressing the original data.

If peoples emails were added without asking to be added to spamhaus then there
should be a complain but If spamhaus only adds emails and ip address by request

That pc can have 2 DVD drives. Lets DVD drive 1 scan and confirm DRIVE 2 DVD is clean then allow programs onto computers that dircetly communicate with the drones.

I have zero certification at all and I am in the IT field 20 years and I do find problem solving networks and pc problems be they any flavor windows,switch,hub.
Besides programming is super easy. its just a bunch of simple tiny programs that when taking a look back looks like a complex program when you see the completed code. Same goes for electronics.... jus a bunch of simple tiny circuts combined to make a really big complex circut.
It just depends on knowing that and looking at the tiny picture.... Newbies who look at the big picture usually get intimidated and leave that profession all together.
