I feel life is passing me by.

All my friends and acquaintances enjoy an active on-line life with endless emails from scammers extortionists and blackmailers, but these days I don't even get messages from that delightful Nigerian prince any more.

Oh how I long for the thrill of a new demand, and the excitement (tinged with just a touch of fear) of deciding what action to take.

Please tell me. What am I doing wrong?

I seem to remember reading that a certain bridge builder in the USA had a problem with suppliers of sub-standard steel, only that was for suspension wires. Fortunately the bridge was over-engineered, so is still there.

No Sympathy

I only have a cursory understanding of these aircraft but the impression i get is that the F-35 is like the all-in-one printer, and as such isn't most effective at any of its proposed roles.

In spite of years of warnings, and multiple high profile break-ins it seems much of the industry still makes no serious attempt to separate internal structures from Internet facing ones, so why should I believe this bunch of scammers are any better?

I won't be the least surprised if when the law suits look anywhere near arriving at the courts, it will be found that there is no money in the company and amazingly it never made a profit.

Thanks for this report. There's no chance of me ever attending either of these, but DEF CON would be the one I'd most like to to see - even though much of it would fly over my head at about 10,000 feet!
