Debian makes things a little harder than neccessary compared to some of the downstream OSes IMO. I get that it's usually part of the legality/philosophy they have, but I don't see why installation of Debian as opposed to Mint Debian on my laptop should be such a hassle and contain graphical problems that make it unusable before it's even done booting.

I adapted my handwriting so every character is unlike every other character for this very reason. I have loopy lowercase ells, a slash through my sevens, little serifs for my v's and u's, etc. On top of that, I overline the letter if its uppercase, underline if its lowercase, put an "s" if its a symbol underneath, and an octothorp if its a number. Has enough rigor that I get by now when I have to write down a password for somebody else.

Another inherent problem with crypto: KYC regulations making it very easy for the government to be able to trace it (unless you're a miner). All the advantages of crypto are getting stripped away by governments because those advantages were things the government could never compete with.

I want to win a race, but I don't want to have to train and run faster than the other guy. What do I do? Beat his f*cking shins to mince with a breaker bar. It's not the most elegant or sportsman like solution, but then again, governments have never seemed particularly fond of those when something so overtly threatens part of them.

I'm skeptical this had anything to do with the allegations at all, and is merely convenient. Recently, Kotick was a bit of a standout for being maybe the only American executive ever to get told by his shareholders that maybe he didn't need bonuses the size he was getting for himself when compared to every other video game company executive, or something thereabouts.

All criminals are constantly flaring nostrils due to their deep-seated rage and disgust towards law-abiding citizens and society, and this causes the bridge of their nose to expand to take in greater volumes of air, a trait passed on to their children, a la Lamarck. Science!
