Though not exactly topic, but does involve email. I had been testing some new software and had a email sent every min at db resync. Well, traveled home relaxed a min, and read THIS Very Article, before checking email, yep as you can guess mine, my team, and my worse my boss who has been following this project just got dozens of happy sync reports, boxes filling fast.

Was reminded recently of something I said years ago, was sitting in the back of a work van (no seats or windows H&S folks dont start, the shipment was late) on the way to site configuring a bunch of 5GHz Proxim 5054's.
"There's nothing I love more than taking a bunch of equipment producing electro magnetic radiation, placing it into a metal box...., then sitting in it."
The guys sitting in the front still laugh about it.
Ah, brings to mind, a time in college. A morning after a inordinate amount of tequila, I strolled into the electronics lab. Took over from my not so compitant lab partner and immediately inserted a cap backwards...
The aged professor not amused, turned a worrisome color, the breadboard was worse for wear.... the shower of fillings was pretty though
Years ago when exiting a comms room, yep hit the button with a ladder.
Thankfully for me, it had been recently been installed wrong and only called the fire department rather than releasing the gas. Looked like a dam fool, explaining it though.
(It is now correctly wired and covered with a roll of tape that can be easily removed)
