Oddly enough, when a Tesla accelerates at a barrier, someone dies: Autopilot report lands

Meh

My understanding of the Tesla Auto pilot is that it's simply a combination of:

1- Adaptive Cruise Control

2- Collision Avoidance Control

3- Lane Following Control

4- Lane Change Control

When all are turned on at the same time it becomes Autopilot. Can anyone say if I am right or not?

It would be fun to have a Tesla to rip apart and play with, but they are still a bit expensive for that!

Re: ' Current industrial production of hydrogen gas'

I did some work in a poly silicon refinery once where they got the hydrogen for the process from a nearby refinery that had hydrogen as a waste gas from another process - so that would be a practical source if there is enough around.

But storing and transporting hydrogen is not efficient at all - the storage tanks on site were 6 inches thick and I was told would go empty in 2 weeks if untouched.

How long will the tank on the Toyota last if it's not being used or just getting light use?

Oddly enough, when the 747 first came out we thought of them as cattle cars compared to the 707, which of course was single aisle, along with everything else that came before.

To this day I remember the 707 as the most comfortable aircraft ever.

Lenovo spits out retro ThinkPads for iconic laptop's 25th birthday

Happy

Maybe I'll try one

They missed the serial port - a real ThinkPad has a serial port.

I still have a T23 in regular use with the original battery that's good for about 2 hours.

I tried Panasonic Toughbooks for a while but could never get used to them.

The only laptop that comes close to the old ThinkPads is the General Dynamics GoBooks.
