No news here....just marketing merged 3 separate series into one...which has all of the old components......complete marketing BS. Guess that they need something to make it look like they are moving forward after they dismantled the group.

@sal II....the VS3 was a large steaming pile from a time when HP/HPE thought that they could drive end to end HP stack without concern for customers existing operational models.

Never able to grow their server market? Hrmmmmm....I htink that they are now in a statistical tie with HPE in blades. The slowing part of the market yes, but a far cry from never.

Also, Cisco passing HPE wouldn't surprise me....HPE is royally screwing things up with their Simplivity toy right now.

Actually, they sold most of the Roseville campus and are already in the process of shutting down the rest. The cities that you mentioned are nice but to do real tech innovation you need to be a valley tramp or live on the east coast....but wait, the folks at Compaq oops I mean HPE don't innovate.

Intel buys alot of servers from their vendor partners and this aligns with designs that they havve talked about in the past.
