I had one of these machines back in the 70's, and even wrote my PhD thesis on it. It was followed by a CP/M machine. I've been running a TRS-80 emulator (xtrs) for years under X. Also have a CP/M emulator and then I can run BOTH machines at the same time in different windows.

I don't know how much statistical training Hans had but I know he was a physician and professor at the Karolinksa institute. I don't think he had an advanced degree in statistics.

Not the first time.....

An SIR model with zombies was published in 2009 by Munz et al -- 'WHEN ZOMBIES ATTACK!: MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF AN OUTBREAK OF ZOMBIE INFECTION. Chapter 4 in 'Infectious Disease Modelling Research Progress' (pages 133-150). Even has some MATLAB code for the model at the end of the chapter.
