I hope this works
The other telcos here in the US need competition, and Google's price is VERY enticing.

Give me a good WH40k any day. StarWars and the like were fine when I was in school. As an adult I almost gave up on recreational reading until a friend introduced me to the more gothic SF that is WarHammer. Now I'm giving Games Workshop more than I ever gave good old George Lucas. The theme does seem to carry on into gaming as well, with titles like Dead Space.
I always thought guns were cool, but never had the desire to bring one anywhere near a school. I didn't need safety lessons to teach that common sense either. Kids make mistakes, but that kid was seriously underestimating the purpose of a gun. A WEAPON is something you show friends at home or while camping perhaps. All the safety I was taught later in life seemed obvious by my own reasoning. That kid & his elders all fail to meet minimum standards for critical thinking.
Keiretsu, meaning "series" or "subsidiary" - A subsidiary of the still existing Mitsubishi conglomerate is still part of a Monopoly IMO. Did I miss something, or did you forget that the leaders of all these subsidiaries still regularly meet up and talk shop in ways that would be considered questionable, if not illegal in the US?

Which company will have the first nuclear powered, satellite managed, submersible data center? That would make it challenging to seize. sometimes I wonder why there are still people on nuke subs anyway. Short of simply refusing to do their job, what do the crew do that a computer system can't?
Just because 500 million people (or systems, since most people use more than one these days) were desperate to get away from Vista, Ballmer thinks that = 500 million just as eager to use win8? At least somebody over there had some coffee and decided to let the rest of the world know that was just a dream
the simplicity of the metric system allows you to show 1/3 of a meter as 0.3333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333... and so on. The metric/decimal system hates those pesky thirds.
Have you seen Gnome3? They just tried the same "Radical" "Innovative" & "belongs-on-a-damn-tablet" changes we see in Win8. I hate it just as much as Balmer's Metrosexual CP. I hope people have some choice other than what the Metro Consumer Preview looks like. At least with 'nix you have MANY choices for appearance.
This guy's behavior goes far beyond the kind of things "Anons" are being raided/arrested for. Not only is 18 months too light, but in violating the trust & privacy of others this man should not expect any privacy ever again. Crime like this deserves mandatory location tracking & some sort of internet tracking/auditing. Odds are high he will continue to be a repeat offender. Most of the commentards here feel a lengthy prison sentence is justified for Anon defacing or DDoSing a website. I wonder how they would compare this?
We already knew we could use this spectrum, but would deal with these issues. Nothing new to report here except some people want some funding to continue their research into tech which can only replace NFC. This will never replace WiFi because to get the same penetration & range you would have to turn up the power to the point where you'd cook the birds in the sky or something. With better antennae it is easy to boost the range of existing tech. I'll keep my homemade point-to-point 802.11g(108Mbps) link thank you.
There should have been a few 'nix distros on the list, if only to use as file recovery when the free av fails to catch anything REALLY bad/annoying. The only program on the list that I have used is VLC. Probably the only one on that list I will ever use. (well, I used OOo until the fork) At home I just keep the Windows boxes off the internet at all times. My cat could probably update Facebook with linux. Its not that difficult.
Aside from the optional tail hook & VTOL, what does the Lightning have that the F-22 doesn't? the electronics, much like everything else was borrowed from the F-22 design and made smaller/cheaper. & they are still trying to figure out how to keep the lightning from falling apart.
a/c & refrigeration compressors use the colder refrigerant from the suction line for cooling, but they are expected to be able to pull in & contain the factory charge within the condenser. If the compressor wasn't burn-your-hand hot after running a short while, then it was probably too weak to begin with.
