most CCP mobile companys use a custom Distro of AOSP

BBK(Vivo,OPPO,OnePlus) use Funtouch OS, ColorOS, OxygenOS

Xiaomi use MIUI

f HarmonyOS is truly in house and works, it will be the first, homegrown, and the others will be politley requested to skin the HOSP

best comparrison is probably online market places or payment processors:

Ebay is about 12% once you tak into account the fixed fees

Payment providers are between 2% and 7%

while the test positivity rate has recovered from its early high, the infection morbity rate(deaths/cases) is still at 12.96% when the baseline rate is somewhere around 3% so there are a lot of cases that have happened without being detected.

depends on how often its used, 200-300 flight hours for an A check, so from 8d8h if its in continuous use or over 28 days if its on less than half duty...

Troy said he came to realise that a large percentage of the value in HIBP was the trust the community put in him specifically.

From the detail he puts into his blog posts about every change he makes and to explain why he has made each decision, and the fact he is still running this in his spare time on a not-for-profit like basis, combine to increase that level of trust.
