Happened to me and the room was occupied

This exact situation happened to me in 2012 at a Hilton Garden Inn in Pennsylvania. It was late and was a walk-in. The receptionist assigned me a room, and I opened the door, flipped on the lights, and terrified a couple sound asleep in bed. I was livid, so I can only imagine how the other customers felt.

Actually, the FCC overturned all state regulations barring municipal-owned ISPs, so I'd say it has come down on the side of consumers.

The issue here isn't that Apple's iMessage-deactivation site isn't *enough*, it's that Apple didn't provide that website for deauthorizing iMessage until *after* they lost their motion to dismiss the lawsuit. At that point they realized that they weren't going to skate on deceptive business practices and unfair, anti-competitive behavior.

I think the most worrisome aspect of this is that the police are arresting citizens for aviation infractions which fall under the purview of the FAA, by concocting ethically-dubious arguments.
