That was done to our cooker by a qualified electrician in Denmark. It is common to have 3 phase sockets, and he swapped common and a phase.

Cooker heated extremely well, but the fan in the oven gave up and the light was blinding.

AFAIR the largest part of the highly radioactive waste generated by a reactor in its lifetime is the core, not the spent fuel.

That’s why I told some Germans it was silly to shut down the plants prematurely, the amount of waste would be almost the same

In defence of Ryanair (I know…), last spring their flights actually left as opposed to those of the competitors. We flew out of Bristol at the end of May and I think half the EasyJet flights were cancelled, none of Ryanair’s.

Don’t quite get the fuss about Columbus. There were Norse and possibly Irish who had been to America before. Most likely also Basque (they were fishing at the Newfoundland Banks in 14th century)and odds are the Portuguese had been to Brazil before the official date in 1500, check the winds at currents around equator.

I think you are too hard.

Try to consider places with little (functioning) government, e.g Somalia, or places within countries where government doesn’t reach, and I think you find they are not so useless after all.
