When I first open Google for a search, enter my search words, and smack <enter> I immediately get a pile of crap advertising for stuff that bears no resemblance to my search. If I go back or open a new window and search.. things work like they should. And search using the same search terms twice and my gosh.. different results on the first two or three pages before going to BS that has nothing to with my search.
Google has become just a bunch of self serving muppets propping up the bottom line for their stock. It's becoming more useless everyday.
Well, let's see....
Companies involved..to big to fail mentality.
Lots of staff with lots of meetings that accomplish nothing.
Lots of middle mangagement who do nothing but count the beans and enforce petty work rules.
Want to make as much profit as they can.
Creativity left the building a long time ago.
About normal I'd say.
I honestly believe the best way to make sure Boing management get off their collective backsides and get this sorted properly is to put their loved ones aboard for the last automated test flight of their capsule before the first real crew are sent up.
What? Loved ones? That would be their shares and bonuses. I prefer sending the board members up... if needed, rinse, repeat and send another batch.
As a test run, have them fly a couple flights on a 747 MAX.
In my understanding, the MAX planes were automatically changing trim settings with the faulty readings.
There were several news articles on this topic about how common was it. Turns out that the experienced pilots just shut the thing off (pulled the breakers) and then turned in problem report when they landed. I believe the more complex a system is, the more training is required including having an inexperienced pilot fly with one who is well experienced.
They're just too big to care. The person who decommissions the server probably has no clue who tell to decommission the sub-domain. And no one ever follows up to see if it has been done. Even if they knew who contact regarding decommissioning, they've probably left the company and their email addy is a dead end.
What do you mean with "find Jesus"? Not a week passes without people ringing my door bell trying to bring me Jesus. They always seem surprised I use their own rules against them (if someone tries to convert you from your faith, for sure ...).
Just tell them you already did find him and that he's in the kitchen having a spot of tea/coffee/other beverages.
What we need to do is charter a flight that goes from west to east (following the jet stream) around the world and then north to south to north crossing both poles. If doesn't convince them, nothing will.
Nothing ever will convince them. When someone believes something is true, trying to convince them otherwise is a hard proposition. And, let's not forget that there's probably more than a few who are in this for money or FB "likes" and "follows".
It was "impossible", until 3 hours later, when they realised an intern/trainee had logged into, not the training, but the live system by mistake and deleted the ISPs off the records/network. Still, I guess they did learn a lot that day!

Kids (usually) have been doing the tap thing on speed signs probably since the invention of the signs and black tape. Usually, they do the increase in speed type of change.... 30 to 80, but I have seen them go the other way from 40 to 10 using white tape.
Or perhaps, senility brought on by years of Adderall abuse.
It's been mentioned in the press that it's possible. I know my former wife is in an institution for early onset dementia/senility (there's some arguing over which it is) that was brought on by too many surgeries and too many pain meds.
I remember Kennedy's quote about space and it applies to the "pale blue dot" photo:
