voting age in India is 18 not 25

There is a factual error .. Voting age in India is 18 .. Marriageable age for Males is 21, for females 18 .. perhaps what you are incorrectly referring to is the age to contest in elections .. which is 25 years.. However, anyone who is 18 years of age can register themselves (if not automatically registered) and vote in the next election :-)

Re: 24/7 or 24x7

24/7 is read as 24 by 7 as most people so that does make the meaning clear to most people ..

24/7/365 is overkill n preferably should not be used ..

Re: Actually old boy,

Thomas Jefferson is known as an American - a founding father esp. of the American Constitution and one of the Presidents of USA ..

Even the White House calls him an American so u with ur pathetic ill-knowledge shouldn't declare him British or otherwise thereby distorting your own country's history and facts as well as making yourself look like an ignoramus and getting many down votes !!

Re: What A Crock of SHIT

while it may always be debatable .. This law was felt necessary in the society to prevent depravity from taking over .. Most of the population aren't in favour of gays anyway .. its a bit like feminism .. and despite what anyone wants to think or pretend to be tolerant to other views or being politically correct, this whole LGB thing is creating a havoc in society and making a mockery of marriages .. Hence it is also not accepted by any of the major religions of the society whether Christianity, Hinduism or Islam ..

Re: no pay for what you use in many cases

U r very right .. Sadly the market will only realize the gravity of the situation and problems once they have to put up with pitiful performance from many of the cloud service providers and then many will want to instead have their own server or hardware but by then most vendors would've changed their lines of business or would've gone the way of the dinosaur ..

Today's mentality is cost over quality in most sectors and the real price will be paid in a few years time as it all starts to take its toll on quality ..

nicely put

You said it in the best possible way .. That's exactly the thing all these article writers and nay-sayers and doomsday predictors of the end of windows xp don't seem to get ..

People will be reluctant and loathe to migrate to a new OS as long as the current one still does its job quite well .. However, decreased support after 2014 april will gradually be followed by other software vendors esp. Browser and anti-malware software makers .. This, coupled with a new range of hardware devices like printers and so on with a new breed of interfaces and drivers may be the reason people will eventually shift to windoze 7 or 8 .. (a bit similar to how it happened from win98 to winxp )

Re: Investment Opportunity

i think u r the only one who probably got it right of all the people reading or writing this article .. the Western media and companies just groan and moan ,.. but the fact is China is too big .. they dont care .. to keep their country intact and retain their political power, control and peace is their main aim .. companies who know how to play it right ... get it right in China .. in spite of all the things these articles say .. people are still investing and expanding in China ..
