Sadly for Strongbow (not my favourite) there is a commonly repeated missnoma that it's never even seen an apple.
I have it on good authority (Herefordshire farmers) that it is indeed made in Herefordshire and just as deserving of the title"cider" as Westons. Tho' I'd rather drink the latter. Stowford Press anyone? or perhaps an Aspells from Suffolk. PP
I'm more in favour of various quoted sources in that what is unprecedented is the speed at which he was invited. Perhaps we should have waited until he has done something that has been proven to have been worthwhile.
I don't necessarily want the State visit but now it's been offered....
I never fly with the Zippos friends and family have bought me. Usually, just a compressed gas "Clipper" like lighter for that 1st fag (sorry cigarette) when I leave the terminal.
If it gets confiscated, I'll buy another or scrounge a light.
Somehow, I don't think they are any safer than matches or Zippos, but I've never had one confiscated yet. Hmmmm. PP
Co-incidence. I worked in Arkwright Road in Reading (it's not a very big street). Visitors from out of area used to stop and photograph it if they could get to a camera quick enough (pre-mobiles). Even the good burghers of Reading used to come to a standstill in Broad Street @ 11:00hrs on a Saturday (at least I think that's when it was). PP
I thought that was what Solitaire was for. I remember presenting my 70 something Mum with a mouse to play a DOS version of Risk. Took her 10-15 mins to get the hand eye co-ordination thingy going before she could even deploy troops but that's training and your diatribe to the Manager was most justified.
Have one of these squire.
