Microsoft cloud exec accused of verbal attack on staff exits

Re: Sounds like a good boss.

GotThumbs

Re: So...

OR was it warranted because the adult child employee screwed up something pretty important.

The is missing is the actual details/facts of what the situation was.

I've had employees who THINK they can dictate their work priority and tasks.

I had one employee (not my hire) actually leave work, without prior approval, to take his 3 year old to the movies. His excuse is his wife was going to give birth to their second child and they wanted to spend a special day of his 3 year old's first movie attendance. Our office is only open during the weekdays, so he clearly could have done this on any weekend.

How many videos/guides about building a custom computer are there on the web?

Californian Liberal Politicians have such little Common Sense, that they don't consider how easy some work-arounds are to their 'rules' will be.

What I find amusing is that people who are specifically wanting to buy those 'high-end' systems, will simply work with a family member/friend who lives in a different state to have it shipped there first.

Nothing prevents someone acting as an intermediary between Dell and the buyer.

My quesiton:"What acts of corruption has President Trump committed?"

Your response. "What about starting with "I and my team have no connections with Russia" and taking it from there?

"Or are you simply helping to spread false information?"

1. there is zero evidence to date of collusion...you want to talk about connections...come on. I'm talking about a charge of breaking a US Law...and your reaching by using "connections".

2. Again where is the violation of a US Law? I hope you don't believe everything you hear/read on the internet....dude take certain things with a grain of salt or verify it yourself. Hillary lied about the video and Obama lied about "keeping your doctor" The FACT is unless they are under oath....it's not a crime to say what you hope will be the case.

You have not provided any evidence of corruption or violation of US Laws.

Keep in Mind, Chicago has more people shooting and killing each other....not police shooting them.

Look at the % of people shot by police and take an honest look at the circumstances.

The only case I feel is messed up was the officer who shot the australian woman from the passenger seat of the patrol car...that is messed up and there was zero threat from her. His partner would think twice (I bet) about riding with the guy again....only then he'd be called a racist.

The fact is...the public does NOT know everything that goes on in and around their area....only what the news chooses to tell them.

You simply need to look at some of the video to see for example...a black man using a spray can as a flame thrower.

In America, we all have the freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. Regardless of whether we agree with the message or not....Americans have to RESPECT others right to free speech...we don't have to agree or listen to it.

If no one showed up but the organizers...it's would have been a non-event.

Think about this....if only one person shows up to play tennis....there is no opponent to volley back and thus there game is quickly deflated and uneventful.

Nothing wrong with counter protesters protesting elsewhere...where there is zero chance of an altercation....but they antifa groups chose face to face confrontation...and got what they wanted. An excuse to feed the mob mentality and trash property.

At the end of the day, these empty offerings remove these people from the nations discussion table regarding business in America.

The offerings will be news for a week...and then forgotten, meanwhile business of the country will continue on...without their input.

Lots of hate going around....just read some of these posts to see what I'm talking about.

A mob pulls down/destroys a historic statue on government property and that criminal act is supposed to project love/respect/tolerance? ISIS did similar acts not long ago....will the mob kill in the name of "Justice" in the coming days? Lawlessness....regardless of the intent...is still violating the laws of the lan. The idiot who killed/injured those people that day...WILL have his day in court and will be judged in a court of law. I have no doubt justice will be served and he will be put down or in prison for the rest of his life. The key is it will be done with clear minds and based on FACTS...not emotions or conjecture.

Nope, it's #McCarthyism2017.

I didn't vote for Trump for his congeniality...I voted for him to put Americas best interests forward.

Regarding Trump pulling from the Paris Accord (I support his decision)....nothing prevents anyone in the US from still working on reducing emissions or Co2....but it does save the U.S. 2 Billion of the 3 Billion Obama generously offered. note: 10 Billion in commitments...and America was 30% of that. THAT is why the other leaders were REALLY ticked off for.

The underlying organization supported by the Paris Accord has stated a goal of 100 Billion annually in fund raising and that is the floor...not the ceiling of what they want. I'm waiting to hear all the other nations putting in more.

Seems lots of people want to bash America....but I don't recall one time in history...where a nation has refused our money or help.....or NOT expected America to pay the bulk of a budget.

Fact, America is 20 Trillion in debt...time we paid down our debt and expect other nations to pay more of the bills.

That is why some people should not be driving these/any low slung cars.

No matter how safe a car may be....the REAL problem is stupid people behind the wheels.

Anyone following too closely to see debris in the road is 100% at fault. It's worse if they simply weren't paying attention to the road or driving too fast for the road conditions.

The driver is the one in control of the vehicle. There is no such thing as an accident. It's simply a collision that results from someone not paying attention or not driving defensively enough.

You can't prevent stupid people from obtaining drivers licenses. Until you take control of the vehicle away from the stupid people...there will always be a chance of a collision.

All you need to do is take notice of the drivers actions around you on the road.

If she truly felt she had a case, she should have gone straight to the companies HR office, not Twitter. Twitter is for whiners IMO. It's not the proper forum for addressing work issues between an employee and an employer. She has marked herself as Trouble for any future employer IMO.

If she was the only one offended by the Hula Hoop, then maybe she should have left the room as it began. Make an excuse to go to the restroom or something. It's not like the hoops magically appeared. It's clear she and the company have different ideas about the desired work environment.

Creative people let loose in different ways.

She seems to have taken a job for a company that does not fit her work environment expectations.

She should have left earlier IMO.
