WTF?

People Still Answer Their Phones?

Remember the days when you could answer the tellie and have a nice conversation? Those days are gone. I have not answered my phone in years unless the number is in my contacts list. I really only use my phone for internet access and as a mini PC. I use it with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse write documents/spreadsheets and take all my notes on it. I monitor my health stats and activities. I also listen to podcasts and music. Phone calls not so much. In fact, hardly ever. My phone notifications are set to silent at all times. Discord for conversations with friends and family, not my phone.

Who'd have thought the US senator who fist pumped Jan 6 insurrectionists would propose totally unworkable anti-Big Tech law?

Re: And thus ...

That is easy. The fertilized egg came first. It had to in order to be the first chicken, Nano or naught. Individual organisms do not evolve. Whatever was before the chicken was a proto-chicken. The crossing of the fowl lineage during mating resulted in enough mutation to cause the embryo in the egg to differ from its progeny. True they could probably still successfully mate but regardless, the chicken was ready to be hatched. Now Jungle Fowl run rampant over the earth from the remote jungles of the world to the golden arches in the biggest cities. Mines the one with the well-ticked bird book in the pocket.

Re: The Advantage of a Stylus or a Substitute

I like the stylus as it is more precise, especially when I have my screens set to the highest resolution and smallest font available. Most times I use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard but the stylus is important when I'm up and walking around. I for one will miss the Note series. I grew up with HandSpring and Palm Pilot devices, followed by PocketPCs. Those were so far ahead. I had stereo bluetooth back in 2004. Mine's the one with the HP Jornada in the Pocket. PEACE!

Full Size

My thoughts exactly, who ever said a 10'' tablet is a "full sized" tablet? It may be the most popular size but there are certainly larger ones as well. Mines the one with the empty pockets, as my 7 inch is in my hand.

Swype?

I've heard no mention of the new iPad's ability to use fully functional swype typing. That is the main reason I gave my 4th generation iPad to my son and got a Nexus 7. Processing speed was an issue as well on that iPad, but that is addressed in this newer version. Paris! Because she knows power of a swipe. That is all.
