Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

tmTM

Bought it.

Enjoyed it.

Quite abit different to the other resident evil games I've played but it's still good fun, plenty of gore and blowing things heads off.

Now CHINA complains of surge in cyber-attacks

tmTM

Bothered?

No, you will find few people who care.

What go's around comes around.

TDK BA100 earphones

tmTM

Sorry but no

TDK just can't make good headphones, and filling them with new tech and slapping a whopping price tag on doesn't change things.

If you want some genuinely good headphones get some SoundMagic E10's or Sennheiser CX-300 II - just make sure they are genuine one's not fakes from eBay or dodgy Amazon dealers.

Apple Store staff outnumber queues as new iPad goes on sale

tmTM

Fanbois?

The terms seems to get some peoples backs up. But when they turn up to buy the item 4 days before it's released I think all of the mocking is appropriate.

The lack of normal stupidity is a good sign, perhaps people have finally realised that queuing at midnight to buy the next, slightly updated version of what you already have is a complete mugs game.

Game Group shares slide under a penny

tmTM
Facepalm

Yea but

It was convenient how all 3 shops were almost next door to each other.

The group really should have put some thought into how many outlets they need in one place, especially after they bought Gamestation.

There's 3 in my local shopping centre.

Re: Xenon flash

Absolutely, I've not had a Xenon flash phone since my old SE K750.

The pictures that could take at night are still better than my SGSII can manage.

Fujitsu flaunts Tegra 3 for future phones

tmTM

Technically

The 5 cores can be shut down to just one core running at a paltry 500Mhz so when it's not being pushed it should have a decent life.

If you decide to fire up a graphics hungry game or start streaming video over the net you're probably on your own tho.

Swiss space-cleaning bot grabs flying junk, hurls itself into furnace

tmTM

Why Not

Grapple the space junk, then bolt a little rocket to it and point it towards earth.

That way the space janitor doesn't have to perish in a fiery death every time it takes out the trash.

Disk fab output pumping up, prices 'to stay high and dry'

tmTM

Me Too

At the hight of the price hike I got a 2TB seagate external for under £80, really nice quiet little drive inside of it as well :)

Black Ops has best videogame ending ever

tmTM

i agree

It was so bad I can't remember it, I only finished it 6 months ago.

Now Metal Gear Solid 2 - thats an ending (not in a good way, in a total WTF?!? kinda way)

Analyst: no 7in tablet at iPad 3 launch

More totally unsubstantiated Apple rubbish.

I'm an analyst and I predict no 7inch iPad, who wants to run this rubbish?

Apple demands US ban on Samsung's Galaxy Nexus

tmTM

A little late?

If the case had any genuine merit surely they'd of filed it ages ago, in many country to stop the phone being released in the first place.

This seems like a desperate pathetic attempt with no hope in hell of success.

Acer limps into 2012 with declining January sales

Acer

Still not Apple, adjust pricing accordingly.

Enjoy increased sales figures.

Not hard really.

HP hands in-house Android code to TouchPad tablet hackers

tmTM
FAIL

HP have cracked it?

They made a good spec tablet, sold it at a rock bottom price and provided very decent after sales software support.

Now they are out of the tablet game?!?

Lucas whines like a bitch

RIM readies 7in, 10in BlackBerry tablets for 2012

tmTM

Pathetic

Improved 3G and a 10" version in 12 months is really not going to cut it in the tablet world, sat next to this years crop of tablets like the transformer prime and ipad three these RIM tablets will look old hand, slow and massively overpriced.

Apple iPad 3 to sport LTE '4G'

tmTM

Realistically

They could have kept all the hardware from the 4, shoved in a larger 4" screen and booted it out of the door and people would have fought in the street for one.

HTC Explorer budget smartphone

tmTM

Also worth noting that the ZTE Blade is over a year old now, has been replaced and even back in it's hayday was under a hundred quid.

Stock software was utter tripe tho, not saying that the HTC won't suffer the same problems with pre-installed bloatware, but at least the ZTE is well and truely hacked so there are many options for new ROMS.

HP Pavilion dv6 15.6in quad-core notebook

Upgraded my laptop to a 7200rpm drive, got a nice increase in performance and no noticeable drop in battery life. A decent 7200 drive uses only a little bit more juice than the crap they put in a standard.

Mars rover seeks perfect suntan spot to survive winter

tmTM

even better

Why not bolt a brush onto the new one so it can go and clean the old one?

Why are the solar panels to delicate tho, the ones people strap to their house aren't, obviously the ones on the mars rover are far advanced, but can they not put a protective cover on them?

Archos G9 101 8GB Android tablet

tmTM

1Ghz

The tablet was designed for a 1.5 Ghz chip, the lower clock speed is apparently due to TI not being able to get the clock speed up.

A 1.5 Ghz version will be released later, although I doube they'd wait til next year to kick it out, by then it'll be vastly outclassed by all the Tegra 3 tablets that will be knocking around.

PayPal dispute ends in 'violin destruction'

tmTM
Thumb Up

My thoughts

Entirely.

Unless the buyer, or paypal rep was an antique violin expert I don't think either of them are in a position to comment on it's authenticity.

Moreover now it's been destroyed no-one is able to verify it, I smell a juicy lawsuit on the horizon.

Nokia Ace to launch from $100m mountain of ad cash

tmTM

About Time?

There's barely been a peep about Nokia and WinMo in mainstream media.

If it wasn't for tech news sites covering every mistake Nokia have made recently I doubt anyone would know about their new phones.
