I was under the impression Silverlight had been dumped around the same time flash for mobiles was dumped, both companies in effect agreeing HTML 5 was the way forward.

I don't think Silverlight works on Android devices properly at the moment, so those who enjoyed watching LoveFilm on their tablets will be disappointed now.

This sounds like the most stupid idea one of these groups has ever come up with.

You could understand a DDOS attack against them or their payment processing stuff, but making charges on stolen cards belonging to Joe Bloggs sounds like robbing the poor. The banks will cover their asses on this one, it won't effect their bottom line.

Isn't there always some ambiguity with identifying people through ip address, there's been plenty of stories pop up of some poor 70 year old couple who've been dragged to court and accused of xyz only for it to turn out they barely know how to use their computer which is fitted with a 56k dial-up.

Tablets will continue to grow, next year will see the introduction of much faster chipsets like Tegra 3 which will give them the power to take on netbooks.

The only reason sales have been poor so far is companies putting the price far to close to that of an ipad, and people just won't pay ipad money for anything other than an ipad

I abandoned Ad Aware some time ago, but now I wouldn't touch them with a 10ft barge pole.

Camera glass

Will they be able to fit it to the camera on a phone as well.

It's great having a scratch free scree on a phone, but when you turn it around and realise the rear camera has been ruined it's kind of annoying.
