RE: The main man
Well as a man more recognisable than Osama Bin Laden, you would think so.
America must really be scared to be going this far.

"The iPad is facing increased competition from Android-based alternatives, but nothing to really frighten Cupertino."
Too bad that wasn't iphone.
And concerning the ipad I would consider a laptop a decent competitor.
Right now i'm running android 2.1 and Windows 7 and not only do they compliment each other great, but they're running apps from each other and i don't need multiple accounts for everything.
That's how it should be, you shouldn't need all apple kit or all Microsoft.
You should be able to have an open web where that's allowed and just choose the brand that you want rather than the one you need to use certain programs/apps.
So we have apple disabling rooted phones, Microsoft bugging and nagging them, and Google giving people a simple yes or no button to installing outside apps and allowing people to root if they wish with no repurcussions.
Guess who comes up smelling of roses =]
I'll give you a clue, it's the one growing the fastest.
"The IPCC got a paragraph wrong in a 1,000 page report."
Well if that one paragraph is detrimental to their whole argument then it's very important, then throw in the fact that this keeps happening and they continually overshoot projections of what will actually happen and make baseless claims without evidence.
Just use your brain, we've seen this happen enough times to know the IPCC is useless busybodies publishing as much as they can to get a big pension.
Climate taxes are just TAX, we already pay more in the UK than it would cost to offset any effects but it's not actually used on what they say it will.
Another day, another climate farce exposed.
I think it's well established now that the IPCC was one of the targets of this as they never check their work.
Which C is for corruption in IPCC? The first or last?
Bring on the red arrows IPCC Supporters!
You're gonna get flamed and rightly so if in the 21st century you don't believe gay people dseserve equal rights, when they pay the same tax as you and get less back from it.
Catholics should clean up their own house before they try to deny anyone equal rights, especially since they benefit from special treatment under the law with charitable tax breaks for churches and harbour paedophiles from justice.
Did you also support the church when they fought against giving black people and women equal rights?
And as for your quote "Homosexuality is "against the religion" of Christianity"
That's down to how you interpret the bible as it never specifically says anything like that so your argument is sunk AC.
He was a pro gay rights politician who fought for us to have equal protection under the law and was murdered for it.
His name was Harvey Milk, so that explains the badges.
And the crossed out 8s are no to Prop 8, the California proposal to ban gay marriage unconstitutionally, which then passed thanks to Mormons from other states funding the Proposition 8 campaign and Religious zealots comparing homosexuality with paedophilia when collecting signatures (a subject the catholic church priests are constantly associated with).
"Perhaps the topper is the 2002 tale of a scientist who burned his penis after placing his notebook on his lap for an hour."
LMFAO!
Toasted sausage sandwich anyone?
And in reference to the guy who hurt his ear, he should try ordering his pizzas over his home phone next time as his Droid has clearly had enough.
I'd say there actually isn't anything more British than complaining.
I mean while everyone else was sucking up to FIFA we were slagging them off and airing programs about them being corrupt.
Who else has the balls to do that than us?
You should be able to feel a great sense of pride in that we can tell it as it really is, even in the face of this.
Mines the one with the England flag in the pocket...
I found it faster than XP and a lot faster than Vista, it's also very customizable compared to older versions.
The only criticism i have from it is the search for files and folder function is crap compared to XPs
I've used Win7 for 11 months now and the only problem i've had is a dodgy installation for Zonealarm (because it isn't actually compatible with Win7)
Avoid Zonealarm if you have Win7 as they advertise it for Win7, but in 90% of cases it causes a recurring BSOD until you use a restore point.
And that's the fault of a bad driver, not because of Windows, so no criticism here.
You can always count on the backwards American politicians to say something like this.
America - home of the free, as long as you're not black, a woman or gay.
Britain has the right idea morally compared to them, first to ban slavery, first to allow gays in the army, first to allow females to vote, first to give blacks rights, first to give gay partnerships, first to give gay rights.
America is morally bankrupt from this side of the pond.
O2 Is only better because the competition is slightly worse.
Since i got my Android phone updated, o2 has blocked over 18 sites like Sickipedia and wants me to present a debit card and pay £1 to prove my age.
They already have my date of birth and bank details because i'm on contract with them so this is just blatantly irritating and a rip off.
Sadly the people who never back up anything, download any old crap without scanning it, and dont have antivirus are always the people in botnets and getting infected by worms like this.
If it takes something like this worm to teach a few people about antivirus, safe surfing and safe download habits then it's worth it.
Bring on the worms!
Christmas is coming, Microsoft has the chance to make some real progress here if they just drop those stupid annoying adverts and make a decent one.
Android on the other hand will boom as their phones come in all shapes, sizes and costs.
Noone wants the same phone as everyone else.
"The only geniune gripe a PS3 owner should have, is why are we allowing Microsoft's system to hold back the PS3 games"
How do Microsoft back PS3 games by being superior on the Xbox 360 in this case?
"and the PS3 looks and playes considerably better on occasion."
How many occasions?
Every so often? Most of the time? Rarely?
You shot yourself in the foot and missed mate, maybe you used the PS3 for that?
At the start it seems hes a victim of a miscarriage of justice, but to finish by saying he was selling the modified xboxes then i have no sympathy and he deserves everything he gets.
Reselling modified xboxes SHOULD be illegal if they allow copyright infringement.
And trust me, im no fan of the DMCA
"increases sexual risk-taking such as having unprotected or anal sex"
Yeah, because thats how everyone learns about anal sex, clearly the internet invented it.
This woman is an idiot
Maybe she could start by actually getting parents to supervise their kids and do their role as a parent?
While we're at it, ban cars so paedophiles can't offer kids sweets to get in the back.
Ban houses so paedophiles have nowhere to take their victims.
Ban books because kids could see a naughty word.
Ban games because kids could get hurt.
Ban planes and boats so kids can't get kidnapped and taken abroad.
Just ban everything and this woman will still be complaining about something
"but how does a penalty which will no doubt directly affect the residents help?"
Losing the details of child abuse victims and people using their services directly affects the residents aswell.
People make mistakes at the end of the day, if it was the same person twice then they should be in prison now, two others and the whole council needs to be fined and told to retrain these muppets.
