Ireland is in the process of introducing such a vaguely/badly worded anti Fake News law that it punishes with huge fines or 5 years in prison for sharing links or publishing what is considered by the Government to be Fake News.
It is so badly worded that even writing an article disputing a piece of Fake News would be illegal under the law.
We need free speech laws in the UK and Ireland

No, it was a joke that regulations would need to be changed. For starters you need a licence specifically for carrying waste on land. There's also likely to be hazardous waste laws and health and safety to contend with too.
In the US they pay for your cans and bottles. Over here we just punish people who don't use the bin and charge even more to then sort them in the way of council tax. It makes no sense.
Have you tried cycling on them? Some of my journeys feel like they're over constant speedbumps. I can see why so many cycle on the pavements. And then there's the cars that act like you don't have the right to dodge a pothole while they're trying to illegally overtake too close.
Some of these potholes are so deep there's probably Morlocks living in them.

I'm stuck in the situation with a Nexus 6P just out of support. If i hold onto it i get security updates for another year but don't get Android P. If I buy anything else i'll lose Android O or have to buy a Pixel at a massive upfront cost (With no bloody headphone jack).
I don't need to upgrade for a year, but by then the problem will likely be even worse
1 - The Watchdog will give them a pathetic fine and congratulate themselves in a press release.
2 - The targeted company will fold instead of paying the fine.
3 - Next week the director starts a new company with a different name and continues bothering people with "PPI" and "Have you been in an accident" spam.
The cycle of futility
You can download Maps for the entire country with Google Maps and they don't expire, they just update every so often. The entire map of the UK is over 1 GB and useful if you travel a lot and don't want to waste data while out and about.
They only need to sit back and watch as Google implodes under it's own idiocy of competing with itself. In the mean time Google has the best products because the competition hasn't bothered making theirs better (enough).
Google search - Bing is shite. Yahoo is shite. DuckDuckGo has a fringe audience.
Maps - Apple has attempted but hasn't done enough to compete. Here (Nokia?) maps is dreadful.
Youtube - constantly declaring war on it's own creators but still nothing else comes close to as good. Vimeo? No chance.
Why haven't they created a competitor to Google search yet? Alphabet search? If you're going to hand your users to your competition might as well do it properly.
Note to Google: We don't need 50 different chat apps from you. Get a fucking clue and sort yourselves out. No one cares if you can "innovate" a new chat app every year. What about usability and consistency?
Apple has imessage and that's it. Everyone with an iphone can use it without worrying that next year Apple will remove features for Apple Chat/Text/iChat/iText. After 9 years in control of Android get your fucking act together! [End Rant]
