Re: He got off lightly compared to Tufty.
The badgers will need a good PR firm to represent them. To most people, they're just giant cretins spreading TB everywhere.

"So, you're suggesting, rather than simply ignoring the little red text for a few days the user should completely change their operating system, then spend time finding decent alternatives for all the software they use (which may or may not exist), then learn a completely different workflow and set of system admin skills because of a small transient issue? It does seem a little overkill."
I'm suggesting anything except Windows at this point (heck, even use Mac if you prefer). Windows is becoming so unstable and untrustable with your personal files that the alternatives are all much better. Every week few days there's another report of a massive bug (usually because of Microsoft not quality testing anymore) deleting people's files or fucking something up drastically.
"You get screwed over and over by microshaft and yet seem to believe this all a laughing matter"
Yeah, it's bloody hilarious. You keep getting screwed over and still stick with Microsoft. There are other operating systems out there. Are we all supposed to ignore this and not point out the obvious to spare your feelings?
The Twitter replies are gold too! Take this one from Keith Gilpin:
"Dear @HackneyAbbott , it has come to our attention that you are completely thick. We are a company that helps thick people manage their affairs. Please DM us your bank details, credit card numbers. Any strange actions on your bank accounts is normal & part of the healing process"
"Rather I would say that the Western world is geared up to discriminate less in favour of white men"
I call bullshit on that. Take a look in the news on any random day and you can see open hostility to people based solely on them being male, white, straight, or all of the above. It's becoming acceptable in many areas, especially on the far left. The BBC refuses to even hire white males in many positions now, and that's a publicly funded organisation, funded by the same people it discriminates against.
Sack a person for their skin colour and you'll be prosecuted for racism - unless they're white and you claim you're trying to make yourself more diverse - that's alright and you'll be applauded for it by Guardian readers and their ilk.
Sweden held a concert for everyone but straight, white, men. They were fenced off in their own pen to protect everyone else.
"I think that we are lucky in the UK at the moment that discrimination is not the issue that it was 50 or more years ago"
You're joking right? Even as a minority you can see the Western world is being geared up more and more to discriminate against straight white men as much as possible. The goalposts have only been shifted buddy, not removed.

There! Fixed it for you Tata!
Same here. Got 2 laptops...Rarely use my tablet now. Only bought 2 laptops because analysts keep complaining of declining laptop sales every year. I'm not buying a second tablet just to help with those figures.
For anyone wondering: one of the laptops is a qbittorrent machine running Windows, the other is my regular laptop for Kubuntu,
Are you able to affect the signal to a television?
If you can harness this microwave power for good, then i see a bright future for you as Earth's first superhero. Or a dark future for all of us if you use your Bee Keeping powers for evil.
Are we calling you Static Man? Captain Tinfoil? The BeeKeeper?
I for one welcome our static, bee conjuring, tinfoil wearing overlord!
I've a few more suggestions if Facebook wants more ex (Or soon to be) politicians (All ironic of course):
Tony Blair as head of Middle-East public relations...
Gordon Brown as head of accounting...
John Major as head of Human Resources...
Theresa May would make a good coat rack...
"Here's a picture of the Earth and Moon taken together which gives a better idea of it's colour and relative brightness"
Wrong picture mate. Here is the correct one
I'm not much of a fan of Google these days, but this is absolutely brilliant. Stuff the EU. More bothered about punishing innovation than trying to create and help European competitors compete.
IF a competitor has a better product, then compete with a better product. Don't fine the owner of the better product for not having a worse product for smaller companies to compete with.
