Cloud albeido can increase or decrease temperatures, it is very dependent on the type of clouds, and is an active area of climate change research.

Increased cloud cover means more water vapor which traps heat and reduces the loss of heat at night.

However, more clouds means more radiation reflected back into space, lowering temps.

Clouds are part of a very complicated feedback system.

As mentioned before, OpenReach should have been properly farmed off from BT years ago. If this had happened and all telecoms providers made to pay into the pot to use it, there wouldn't have been any need for unbundled exchanges which are basically duplication of equipment.

Everyone paying their share to use the same network would have resulted in a better network and fibre rollout years ago.

No they are proposing NATing people using IPv4 inside their network. Customers would still be ipv4 to the internet. I was proposing they give almost everyone Ipv6 on their network and the internet at large.

What ISPs need todo is start shipping new customers routers that are configured to use IPv6 to the ISP, but are running IPv4 NAT for the customers devices.

For 99% of customers this would be fine.

For the 1% needed static addresses, leave them as IPv4 all the way through.

Sky have been overcharging Movies for years and using it to subsidize the cost for Sky Sports.

They got themselves into this situation in the first place by offering the FA huge sums over BBC/ITV and forcing joe punter to pay for the huge player wages we see today.

Actually probably takes longer to run

They didn't make their code any faster at all. All they did was modify it to use more processors.

In fact its likely that the code takes longer to run (if taking all cores into account) due to all the message passing between threads.
