Ah, French, that's easy
I get the missus to do the translation! Now Swahili and Mandarin pose a bit of a challenge...

Yes, the 1% in regards to who you should share a document with or not! I get dozens of invites to edit a document I have no business seeing, I mention it to the Google Admin, I still get dozens of invites to edit documents I have no business seeing... I've been to his training course, he covers it in detail ~ chalk it up to 1% !
A pint as I don't have to put out this dumpster fire ;-}
Been down this road... and back up it a few times. No spare for the gear, it went down, howls all around. When we replaced it, bought the spare PS, sat on the shelf, 6 years later, replaced that item, power supply still sits on the shelf. These are the costs that drive my manager batty... That said, we've not has a PS die in many a year. Luck?
I've been one upped! I try to keep one of everything, you know just in case in 10 years, two days before retirement, someone asks for something that is no longer being sold...
I see Simon has upped his game too, not just a roll of carpet and some lime, but a whole construction site to *cough* hide some evidence...
My team manages upwards of 1000 Apples, iMacs, Macbook airs, both 13 and 11", and have been doing so for over 10 years. We manage repairs w\external company. I can say from experience it comes down to the user or misuser when it comes to physical damage, Apple is a superior hardware. We purposely stay away from the gimmicky looking releases, touch bar? NO thanks. Our repair partner notifies us if any of our fleet is in recall, and if repairs are under warranty. When it comes to buggy OS, I feel when it happens now, as the new OS is much more buckled down and work arounds are not always easy.
"Smart phones and tablets - Too little, too late"
I think enough phone buyers that had a choice of platforms, purposely avoided windows on a mobile. People had had to deal with Windows at work, Windows at home, and picked something different.
"Gates said if Microsoft had got that right, it would be the leading company in the world, not just one of the leaders."
I think saying we could have been the one, had I thrown more cash at it, is wishful thinking on Mr. Gates part. I don't see how missing the boat with Windows would help with a mobile OS.
Here in NL the emergency number is 112 but 911 will work too. Looks like 112 is the European standard.
112 is a single emergency telephone number that allows European citizens and travelers within EU to contact emergency services for assistance in all Member States.
I received 4 of these calls in the space of a 10 days! I totally burned the first guy: "Hello this is (insert English name with bad non-western accent) from Microsoft" Me: Oh my god, I've been trying to call you guys for hours! Finally! My PC won't boot! Heeeeelp!
The second guy asked me to sit at my windows computer, (he said he knew I had one) I told him we use Solaris Workstations!
I was wondering along the same lines, sort of... But I see headlines about violent offenders(killers, rapists) getting far less time in the US. Seems there is a huge disparity in how sentences are calculated and assigned, I guess chalk this up to Judges being people, people with an agenda (their own or someone else's)?
