a few years back, I was on holiday in the land of Wine and Cheese, and lunchtime quaffing. I had finished a nice lunch at the in-laws house, was on my third or forth glass of wine and cheese after lunch, and I get a text one of our DC's gave up the ghost. Gladly I didn't have to talk to anyone as my Franglish was kicking in. I sent an email back with my advice within 30 or so minutes. Not one word of my advice was heeded, it was a nice return to work ~ \s
On vacation, and just read this:
The team were sort of right, as Ben explained: "We did not know that removing the users from Exchange would automatically disable the users in Active Directory."
A M$ Partner made this happen?!!! WTF!!! I haven't used Exchange in 14 years, and I knew this! Might have been a better test to unplug the network cable on EXchange and test?
So glad Exchange was shown the door at our place...
I once was passing the glass back to the lass across the bar, and got my hair singed badly from one of those candles set on the bar at Christmas time. I quickly extinguished the fire on my head, no one saw it, but everybody smelled it!
D'oh icon, as that was pretty much the motion I made to put out the fire!
My first iPhone 5 (battery now failing), was a freebie from a colleague who upgraded and couldn't be bothered to try to sell it. Just this week, I scored an iPhone SE 64gb for €50, from a retiring colleague who received a new one, that's about the cost of getting the battery replaced in the old 5 at the shop...
