Which resolution?

The screen resolution? Thats already as high as any other game.

The texture resolution? The game already supports replacement texture packs, which can be significantly higher resolution than the default textures. These can actually look very nice (particularly combined with a shader mod), but the blockyness of the default textures feels like a better fit for size of the blocks.

The size of the blocks? No, this is unlikely to change, the current size is a good compromise between having enough detail to tell whats going on and not having to place too many blocks to build something in a reasonable time.

The polygon count of models for blocks and other entities? Possibly, I think they're working on making models replacable (like textures already are) in a future relealse. As with textures it is likely that some of the third party models will be more detailed than the defaults.

The only reason I can see is that if you don't have it on you'll have to put up with notifications about it being off. It would have been nice if the final update would have adjusted this behaviour.

Well yes, someone could plug a wireless widget into the port. But if they've got sufficient access to the car to do that then they've also got sufficient access to interfere with a car with no electronics (e.g. cut brake pipes).

You want a decent pair of electricians scissors for that job.

(Electricians scissors and molegrips are also great for opening things. My electricians scissors deal with those totally sealed hard plastic packages reasonably well. Molegrips are by far the best nutcrackers in existence (overkill for hazelnuts, but I'd not use anything else on a brazil)).

The lack of a pre-existing plot might be good for the movie (assuming they add a plot). However I'm less sure that having an associated plot would be good for the game, some people may then feel they have to play it a certain way (obviously they don't - but some people are easily influenced).

I don't normally grumble about downvotes, but on this occasion hope those responsible aren't specifying processors for real-time systems where a response is required in a certain timeframe to prevent something physically crashing/exploding/otherwise killing people. That isn't the time to be deciding a processor which can't deliver results in time but uses less power is appropriate.

Touchscreen monitor... Just poke it with a finger, same as you would with the specialised keyboard. I'm sure you can even find a monitor you can take off its stand and lie flat on the desk if you prefer not to have it vertical.
