Ubisoft: 'Vast majority of PC gamers are PIRATES'

Re: DRM fault's

"if you have a ton more IPs posting to your leaderboard then you have receipts of sale, what does that tell you?"

It tells you people have laptops, tablets and mobile phones that don't stay in the same place. So it tells you nothing!

Ten... Core i5 laptops

ThinkPad "with the best keyboard you'll find on any notebook"

How can it be "the best keyboard you will find on any notebook" when the Left Ctrl button is in the wrong place.

I hate laptop manufactures who feel they need to place the "Fn" button where the "Ctrl" button belongs, it makes touch typing impossible.

Mozilla reaches for almost perfect 10 with latest Firefox 4 beta

Much Improved

The Firefox 4 Beta is good, I have been using it for about a month now and wouldn't go back.

It even works better on my 6 year old work PC.

It is not perfect but better than older iterations.

@ Epic fail

Right,

So what you are saying is people no longer have to buy an album just to get the one good song.

Sounds like musicians should get off their asses and make decent albums if they want to make more money from the digital age. Not just flog 11 crap song with each good song and expect people to pay for it.

Maybe...

Maybe this is the reason the Film industry think they are losing loads of money to pirating.

They think the millions of requests are people who are not paying for their film.

Bad Idea

This would mean it would be completely impossible (presently very difficult) for the common man to ever become a minister.

A little more though maybe

I work in London so have no car, I travel to work by train. Therefore have to carry my Laptop on me when I take it home from work, some times I stop off at the cinema on the way home.

My suggestion is maybe you didn't think for quite long enough.

Pointless

How are you supposed to use the phone whilst it is charging?

Hold the phone and the matt to you face?

I can see a product like this being useful in a kitchen environment, where you could place the electronic equipment on a work surface without the wires. But I cannot see one advantage to using it with mobile phones.

@Yes it starts fast

"I don't know why anyone complains about the current startup speed of firefox,"

I have been a Firefox fan for a long time, but on my laptop(admittedly 5 years old) it can take a minute or more to start, this is no acceptable.

Chrome starts in about 3 seconds and uses less resources (no I don't have millions of extensions, just NoScripts and Adblock Plus.

Firefox need to sort out the bloat and stop mucking around with the UI, I don't want them to make it look like browsers that are faster than it. I want it to work faster then the other browsers. I fear they lost their way some time ago though.

Sounds like a fair idea

I would also think using Battery power would be another way to solve this problem, chuck some light weight solar energy collecting material on top (I know this kind of thing doesn't exist yet) and then there would be no need for batteries as long as your above the clouds.

Your stats are a little out

Just so you know there are over 61 million people in the UK

Over 46 million are registered to vote, based of government statistics.

hmmm

If they are so worried about the environment being damaged why do they destroy perfectly good crops to communicate? Do they use a plank and a piece of rope as well?

I for one welcome are Alien overlords who have obviously decided against further crop circle for communication, but have infiltrated the Bulgaria Space agency to get there Voices heard.

How do these people get paid to do these studies?

I think some one should tell them they are just games and therefore have no need to recreate real life at all. What's next saying that we don't know if Aliens will be good or bad so we shouldn't make games where we can shoot them.

Honesty, I can understand what goes through the minds of people who think that video games should be compared to the real world.

MS store staff in spontaneous electric boogie

Oh the Horror

I skipped to the middle of the video and watched for 3 seconds.

If I walked into a store and that happened I would never enter the store again, and would defiantly not purchase any thing from it.

Only Willy Wonker would get his staff to do something so obviously forced and off putting.
