I think they're pretending that suddenly deciding we need a hard border would mean a massive back log of stuff queued up to enter the country, leading to shortages.
You apparently think magic tech will give us the required hard and soft border in Northern Ireland. Care to explain how that's going to work or is shouting "Project Fear" the limit of your debating skills?
You don't need to. You just need a browser that runs JS or serves cookies and you're feeding facebook plenty of info.
What are you suggesting? That as long as Chrome doesn't suck quite as much information as Facebook it's ok? Conflating the nosiest browser on the web with the nosiest website on the web shows a startling lack of technical understanding.

I disagree. Spending more and driving the price up could well have pushed the Spectrum out of the range of affordability for a lot of families. It wasn't easy to persuade parents you needed a computer, the fact you could upgrade the ROM wouldn't have added any weight to the argument. An extra fiver cost might have been enough to persuade them to say no though....
Personally I think season 7 is a return to form after 5 and 6 which had good episodes and great banter but felt like they were written by committee. "The body" is still probably one of the best treatments of what an actual family death feels like and that's 6 isn't it?
We have both, they're not the same thing. Email's much easier to search but much harder to get people to respond to immediately. Email chains get easily out of order whereas a team chat is a collaboration so it's fairly good at keeping things in sequence. We use teams to set up live meetings that members from around the world can join. Difficult to do that with email.
I guess we generate alternatives to see if there's a better way of doing things. Are you genuinely saying you think people should stop trying to make better things?
The problem is you're a Java dev and you're working on JavaScript. The "driver who isn't in control" metaphor doesn't need 120 mph, if you don't know how to drive 30 is perfectly dangerous.
Stop hating and start learning or find somewhere to work where your current skills are actually relevant.
Realistically all you can do is block ad site cookies to defend against this. The ad site has to serve the ad or they aren't paying the host site. So your browser has to request an asset from the ad site and send all the browser footprint info it normally does. They can't track you directly but they know your source ip, user agent and a whole load of other stuff.
There is no way anyone is paying a site owner lots of cash because they promise on their life that they definitely served loads of ads to people.
In the 21st century we expect both parents to care for the children so all those excuses apply equally to both sexes. We have a man on our team at the moment who's on 3 day weeks as he's a new Dad!

What does that mean exactly? On SqlServer a snapshot is a quick file system level "backup" with restrictions on restore (you can have multiple snapshots but can only restore one and must delete the others first). This product isn't like that is it? If not, what does this usage of snapshot mean?
