"indicative of a deeply rooted feeling of insecurity and paranoia in the American psyche."That would actually explain a lot about where America is right now with regards to mass shootings, gun control debate, economics, driving habits, and interpersonal relations.
Oh! shit.
Oh, come on now, it wasn't that bad. The new font is a perfect counterpoint to the surrealism of the underlying metaphor of the Vogonity of the marketeer's compassionate soul, which contrives through the medium of the logo structure to sublimate this, transcend that, and come to terms with the fundamental dichotomies of the other and one is left with a profound and vivid insight into ... into ... er... Whatever it was the press release was about.
Apple has almost 14 times the available cash, and they could send it to Toshiba directly from their current tax-haven. I get (sort of) WDC's gripes about the sale; but once the winning bid was accepted, why are the bidding members having trouble scraping together the money? Are they that afraid of WDC rocking the boat?
Sure! Just come up with the criteria that all videos should be judged against. Make sure your criteria can be given to a 5-year-old with a decent chance that they'll pick the right content to hold for moderation.
Oh, and who's going to pay for the moderators?
I did not down-vote the OP, because they asked a valid question out of a desire to know. I did, however down-vote M. Poolman, for ignoring what went before on the same thread and for being and exemplar of Dunning-Kruger ("I'm also not entirely convinced about the level of difficulty involved (although IANAE)").
The "No Pron" "algorithms" referenced are simply a ratio of skin-tones to non-skin colors in the video, combined with "Report Abuse" crowd-sourcing. YouTube could use a similar "algorithm" for terrorist material, but the backlash for taking down every video with people in it might be problematic. Middle Eastern peoples vary in skin tone by a lot (Look up the origins of "Caucasian" and "Aryan" - It ain't Europe).
Between the computer vision problems and the lack of a definition of what "terrorist material" actually is YT relies on the second half of the "algorithm" - The Report Abuse button.
If they just add Sprint's Customers, Spectrum, and Network to T-Mobile this could, possibly, not suck. If they move T-Mo to Sprint, the US mobile market is super-fucked. If they keep Sprint's customer service (Motto: "Servicing customers the way the bull services the cow") then we are only slightly more screwed than current.
I like T-Mobile as the scrappy under-dog, it drives them to do things that the big CellCos won't can't do (unlimited* data, charge less per month, freebies, and actually help the customer when calling about an issue or problem) which in turn forces AT&T et Verizon to actually improve themselves, if even a little.
That's the danger of these types of ordeal, the blood cannot flow back. (Closed-flow priapism)
Arteries are on the inside of appendages, to keep them more protected; while veins are on the outside. While blood can flow into the {arm/leg/finger/todger} in a restricted area, it may not be able to flow out.
Sedating the gent can help as less blood will be directed to the area in question, but the pressure keeps the blood from leaving.. had they tried manual manipulation, as you suggest, the blood pressure in his wedding tackle would have increased, still with no return option, rupturing quite a bit of tissue and would have prevented him from ever getting into this (or any other) situation ever again.
The one that really got me was the "44 times closer..."
I had to take the km distance and translate it to AU to get a meaningful comparison: about 0.02AU. I'm still not quite sure how 2% of the distance translates to "44 times closer".
The thing about the Frequency Response numbers is not so much that that's where they stop working, it's a curve where performance degrades and then stops. A set of cans that advertises 20Hz to 20kHz will have a really weak bass response, unless you have 'em run through an amp, and the highs will likely be tinny and very quiet.
An expanded FR means that the sounds that you can hear will not be degraded.
I hate to be pedantic (that's a lie, I quite enjoy it), but you used the wrong initialism for the Four Letter Agencies. the correct initialism is ETLA (Extended Three Letter Agency/Acronym) because it makes more sense that if TLAs have a three-letter acronym, then the ETLAs should have a four-letter acronym.
Next to Microsoft and Oracle, Nestle are now practically emissaries of Jesus.Other way around I'm afraid. Nestlé is on par with Monsanto in the evil corporation stakes. MS and Oracle are school-yard bullies stealing lunch money, compared to Nestlé as Pablo Escobar.
The use of "Breakout" as a verb, along with the use of the original(?) sounds/music puts it in a completely different arena than the clones written by others that used their own music/imagery/branding.
This is obviously a play on the "Breakout" branding, as opposed to "Bricks", "Block Breaker", "Block Destruction", or "Brickbat". All Atari has anymore is their marketingIP Department, so this is indeed an existential threat. The clones are just ripping off (err, inspired by) the game, which Atari doesn't sell, so there's no loss there.
And I'm not apologizing for Trump. He's the POTUS and you need to respect that.Funny how a lot of the people saying that (Not necessarily M. Gumby - I can't be arsed to dig through his comments) are the same ones who had Zero respect for Obama.

How about some actual corruption: Charging the US Treasury for him to stay at his own property?
When Trump visits his Mar-a-Largo golf resort (exactly like he promised not to) his stay is payed for by the Gov't, as is the stay of his attachés, assistants, security, and his cronies. Trump is not technically in control of the profits from that property... but embezzlement that doesn't pay out for four years is still embezzlement.
My reading of this is that it effectively turns any cell into a stem cell - and then tells it what it should be. Rather than slap stem cells on the affected area and hope they differentiate correctly, they figure out what cells are needed, convert skin (because it's easy to get to, and is plentiful, and re-grows quickly) cells into the target and apply where they are needed.
What they did with the vascular tissue with the mouse was just convert the skin to vascular cells and let it migrate. With more in-depth (EG. nerve cells in the spine) injuries, they would convert skin cells to nerve cells, harvest the nerve cells, and then inject 'em into the problem site.
All the benefit of harvesting cord-blood, without the requirements of planning and storage.
Roll your own VPS, and then use that VPN to connect to a commercial one.
If you are feeling paranoid, you can have that external VPN be in a foreign jurisdiction, and then use that to connect to a domestic VPN. Throw in a proxy for non-HTTPS traffic, and you may be able to avoid most tracking.
