If the Beeb is responsible for 20% of the European TV budget - that kinda suggests what a dire state the rest of Europe is in.

I find it ironic that the 2 tax payer subsidised organisations (Beeb and C4) produce better quality output imo than the other UK ones (looking at you ITV and Sky).

Its not mentioned but is it possible that Beeb/Beeb Worldwide is also the biggest TV exporter in Europe? Or do someone like the Spanish channels get a look in? Or possibly the Scandinavians' with the current Scando-Noir trends.

Getting ridiculous

All we've had from HP so far is FUD nearly all of which is based on absolutely valid IFRS accounting. The only lesson we can take from this so far is that a) HP managemrent doesn't understand GAAP accounting or b) they are just leaking and spinning for all they are worth.

Add in the total lack of corporate governance HP has demonstrated over the last 7 years or so up to and including Meg's powergrab for all 3 C roles and there is only one conclusion.

Something is toxic in HP it has been for years and it still getting worse. The entire board and c suite need to be hauled up on corporate malfeasance charges.

Well that will solve the multitude of corporate governance problems HP has been exhibiting in the last 5 years.

More evidence that the board are asleep at the wheel.

At that kind of price (assuming £=$) and range - it will be a serious contender in the compact-mid size executive market.

Given the choice between a high end 3 series/low end 5 series and a model 3 - I suspect a certain % will choose the T3.

Especially if it gets on the main stream fleet management/contract hire provider lists.

I can see some private charging/filling station deals like a lot of bigger fleets already operate for LPG/Diesel.

Surely the safest method MS should have adopted is to apply EMET to all apps as a default and then let local IT bods write exception rules as necessary?

Im all for bashing the NSA

But this is a bit much. The NSA doesn't have any responsibility for eliminating Zero days - they are a comms spy agency for gawds sake.

Its perfectly reasonable for them to collect exploits to use as part of their toolkits and its perfectly reasonable not to disclose which ones they have.

What's not reasonable is to use those exploits against the general public or anyone who doesn't meet a reasonable definition of threat to the US or its allies.

So no usage of them to create botnets within the general internet population.

To stretch an analogy to breaking point - I don't mind the army (or police) having guns - I object to them being pointed (much less fired) at me when they don't have reasonable suspicion that my behavior or actions warrant it.
