Re: Change supplier

EON tried hard to convince my late mother-in-law (was 86) she HAD to have one, it's the law they told her over the phone....everyone else in your street has one.

Three times I opened the door to the fitter and told him "go away" much to her horror about being dragged from the house as a criminal.

It wasnt until I accidentally answered the phone to EON rep and told them I was recording the call, can they send me proof of the new legislation that they left her alone

Yes, your old iPhone is slowing down: iOS hits brakes on CPUs as batteries wear out

micheal

Re: I wonder...

So the question is, if the battery is replaced does the OS take away the deliberate slow down?

NO

MY iphone 6 suddenly went from 1.5-2 days battery life to half a day overnight (no new apps, I dont do social media) about the time the iPhone 7 came out

Had battery changed but still half a day, Apple store looked at it sort of "buy a newer one"

Ex-cop who 'kept private copies of data' fingers Cabinet Office minister in pr0nz at work claims

micheal

Re: The issue I have with this

However, as the police has noted many times around this story - this was LEGAL pornography

To be exact, the copper who kept copies insists it was all legal porn.

As Mandy Rice-Davies remarked "He would, wouldn't he?"

So if it's not OK for the MP to have it, how OK is it for the copper (ex) to peruse, keep and then classify as "legal" then?

Re: Just let's not go down the Blair + Brown route shall we?

On that subject..

Didnt the services (Plod, Ambulance, Army) all do the single fuel evaluation based on the Brown / Livingstone "Diesel is good" policy?

Bet some large companies got good dividends for that one.

Are they going to rethink it based on the "new" evidence?

On a shopping Saturday the journey took him roughly an hour each way
