So, it's the Newspeak Dictionary then?
Here comes the First Edition, lads. Expect word count to start dropping REAL soon.

When was that not the case? I've always closed my browser sessions before switching to other websites, especially if I was just doing web banking.
Hell, I sandbox FF before doing banking and destroy the sandbox before going to other WWW sites.
It's just good practice.
Garry McKinnon caused no damage to any system hosted in the US. He installed a remote access package via access to high-level accounts with weak or default passwords, then snooped around for UFO information he believed was being withheld from release. He didn't delete anything, and he didn't cause any damage.

These all seem to be based upon ground transport with very little actual innovation.
I picture Segway as the future of transport, only without the wheels; A sphere, very much like the wheels on the Audi "car" in I,Robot" (Will Smith version) With passengers either standing upright or suspended in a harness.
The people don't give a hoot. Nothing to hide, nothing to fear.
You know, it's almost worth committing crime just to get yourself out of the running for being on some list somewhere; At least you're guaranteed 3 hot meals a day and free access to gym equipment. They can't even guarantee that to honest citizens.
Now we have former government advisers, highly respected experts in their field, who agree with what the sane world has known for over two millennia.
Let's see if the Beeb will carry this story. Mainstream publication of events against prohibition improve the understand of the political system, and how to best get your point of view heard.
That it is an automation of netstat, ipconfig, various net commands, a dump of system memory (including potential passwords / password hashes in RAM) and not a lot else. Just designed to prevent power-off losing evidence (for instance, when booted from a LiveCD, resulting in no swap file, hibernation file, no temporary files of any kind, no logs etc.)
Shame it's MS only. Those Linux LiveCD's are simply too good to pass up anymore.
Tracks are electrified; No combustibles in an enclosed space (underground system) and no overhead cabling, so they must be.
Red rectangles seem to be movement-based, picking up colour changes in the scene. Probably to prevent excessive scenes of motionless video capture. Could be to identify why a particular frame was captured.
Oddly, she looks like an ex colleague of mine... I should give them a call and see if they visited the US recently :D
You can clearly see an after-binge brawl getting out of hand:
Frame 1: Bitch slap
Frame 2: Scuffle on the floor
Frame 3: DECAPITATION!
This is some serious stuff.
(As for the reindeer, you can clearly see that they pose no problem anymore; Their heads are mounted on the wall next to the stockings. See top right of homepage).
Speculation and accusation are enough to totally ostracise a person from society, emotionally cripple them, and to financially bankrupt them with legal defence costs.
Possession laws need to be repealed. They're too broad, and a waste of time and money. Bear in mind that this was 11 months of court fees, investigation by police and forensic experts, and all at the expense of the tax payer. These resources could be put towards finding the distributors and creators of these abhorrent materials, instead of ruining the lives of not just one person, but his family, his friends, and his colleagues; After all, they were all associated with a pervert, weren't they?
Attack the source.
Considering that black holes are known to have a magnetic force, maybe we can contain such a mini black hole within the confines of the LHC's super conducting magnet lined chamber?
Something tells me that doing anything than keeping it suspended in a vacuum will be quite dangerous, so no dumping to core.
Now, where's my crowbar...
... or does this seem a *lot* like Gordo is setting up the Conservatives for the next seat in No. 10? Backing all of this Draconian legislation which the 'Tories promise to scrap...
Makes me wonder what the Tories are planning.
And whether enough people in the country have heard of the Lib Dems.
It's easy to see how this came about; A story appeared on The Reg yesterday regarding the Sense UI (based upon the UI of the same name from the Android handsets) would be appearing on the HTC Touch HD2. It's T-Mobile not understanding that UI != OS.
Oh, and do me a favour; Hold your hands out in front of you, palms forward, fingers together, and thumb at 90 degrees (or as close as you can get it) to your hand. The one which forms a shape like an L with the index and thumb is your *left* hand. Incidentally, that's where you'll find the Start menu on WinMobile.
Why the hell is the software accessible from the external controls of the ATM anyway?
No keypresses on the front panel should be allowed to alter any setting on the machine, and the internal controls should be locked seperately to the cash reservoir. That's how they are in most UK ATMs anyway; One key opens the cash, one key opens the console, Bank has the former, Engineer has the latter, and never the two shall meet.
Nothing to hide, but the only thing I use my "naked" internet connection for nowerdays is watching TV on demand services and playing online games. For everything else, a little extra latency from using I2P, Tor, or an anonymising proxy is nothing. IMP will just make me fork out for a personal VPN to a foreign nation.
Nothing to hide, but everything to fear, actually.
Next you'll tell me that the prohibition of recreational narcotics is based on flimsy pseudo-science and conjecture, and that even government sponsored clinical trials and studies have clearly demonstrated *scientific fact* which contradicts many of the claims used to back legislation against their use!
Oh, wait...
