Re: Fuck!!!
This is the gauge that hangs off your regulator. It's not a wrist model, it is an all in one unit. So it's not telling you that you have 2,200 PSI in your tank, it tells you that you have 32 minutes at your current depth.

"So what do you think Logitech's legal position would be if it it continued to allow the undocumented API interface to continue in the light of the security concerns it has discovered? They would be royally screwed"
What are you talking about, there are thousands of things like wifi routers and cable modems with known holes you can drive a bus through that don't get a patch because they are a year old and and the new model is out. It's only that they want to keep selling the same one.
"To be fair I don't think you'd find many people willing to defend the particular leader he was mocking, especially in hindsight."
The key word there is hindsight. If you look at 1940 you would be surprised at the support. Look at some of the stuff coming out of America First at the time for instants. There were a lot of people who thought he was on the right track. The "alt right" of the time was alive and well much like today and that movie pissed off a lot of people.
They weren't "socialism or communism". No "real" required. The problem with communism is it's unstable because there is nothing to stop one guy from taking all the cookies at which point it is no longer communist. Libertarians have the same problem, everyone is supposed to be free but it applauds taking all the cookies as a sign of success and you are back to your dystopian wonderland.
"Musician could not write music down, for fear someone would use it at their own advantage."
LOL sure. Lucky there was no one who could transcribe music by ear way back then.
Then there are all those people who "work for hire" and have no rights, it all belongs to the boss. Even after you are long dead.
You are going to compare people suffering a slow death from Asbestos to Sony being upset that someone uploaded a video of their kid dancing to some pop song on the radio?
Like maybe what people are calling a loop hole was the intended way it should work even if corporations would like 100% control.
Sales and marketing were competing for who had the newest laptop, by breaking there almost new laptop.
New policy: You get a loaner while your laptop is repaired (it had duct tape holding the battery in).
New laptops go to the person with the oldest laptop, no exceptions.
Funny, no more broken laptops.
"which some folk state can be also over-ridden by MS. True, or not?"
I have a computer with the service disabled, and a script that will kill it if it tries to start. And yes I have seen that script pop up a few times, most often when you plug in a new device even a USB stick, or a mouse.
" Samdroid and install generic Android on it."
Samsung already have their own app store. And a Samsung with generic Android is funny, they have more krud then any other phone. Even have their own assistant. They could remove the google stuff now and have a working phone. It would suck, but it would work.
