Titles are for toffs
They should make a tough multi-screen smartphone, it could have several 6-9 inch screens supported in an unbreakable steel or iron grid, which could be painted bright red, so easy to find if you misplaced it.

Just looking at their twitter feed, weird that it's the only way to get a response from them, and it appears order numbers are now 300,000 higher than my still to be delivered one.
I don't think that means there are several hundred thousand orders for the e-reader outstanding, I only found out about the site from a comment here. So I suspect those ord.nos are generate for all sales including ebooks etc, possibly worldwide sales too ?
As it is, I'm not holding out any hope of getting one, it'll probably drag on for weeks, and ruined any chance of me getting one elsewhere. Though no doubt ebay will be awash with sales from people trying to make five quid on the thing.
That's maybe 30% of approaching 99c for 25 billion downloads minus modest infrastructure and marketing, to sell other peoples content.
So in the high single digit billions, quite a cash cow and possibly more than the major 'evil' record labels' profits in that period; you know the people who at least sometimes help develop the content.
I would big up Swiss neutrality in WW2 or Hitler being enraged by them, iirc Switzerland will still providing Nazi Germany with weapons and especially munitions in early 1944, they only stopped in May 1944 because the Nazis ran out of hard currency/someone else's gold.
The Americans and other allies weren't best pleased with them in the immediate aftermath of WW2.
I thought the signature element of Motorhead's classic sound is the bass playing of Lemmy, so why do these headphones boost the guitar/'metal sound' ?
Wouldn't it make more sense to have whatever quality near 'neutral' sounding speakers/headphones you can afford and then crank the volume up to whatever you're comfortable with and/or feel reproduces that Motorhead sound the best ?
I bought my phone on the strength of a review I read here !
I don't have a tv. I don't watch films at the cinema; usually I get around to rated films via reading imdb reviews and buying the dvds cheap on ebay.
I don't have ads enabled on my browser, live in the countryside so don't see to many advertising hordings, I don't buy any newspapers or glossy magazines and so forth.
Basically advertising all but passes me by, which is good as I don't like seeing or hearing 'lies' that people are paid to make up.
In short ad.agencies and their preening egotists belong on a B-Ark with the other useless third. ;-)
F******* Facebook Friday - now that today's IPO estimates the 'values' of mine and everyone else's facebook accounts at $115 each, I feel the need to withdraw this product, ie me, from the market place.
So if like me, you've had somewhat mixed feelings about using the website and the positives, some types of social interaction, have been balanced by the negatives, loss of privacy and the wrong sort of on site inaction, why not take this opportunity to close your account and grab back those supposed 405 minutes a month each of us give to it ?
Let the Web 2.0 bubble start to deflate.

So he blames a video game for real world violence, but doesn't bat an eyelid in voting for a war of aggression, that's resulted in tens, if not hundreds of thousands of dead, the photographic evidence of which has been largely self-censored by our media, as likely to be too upsetting for our delicate stomachs.

And he then went on to resolutely oppose a thorough investigation into the Blair governments probable criminal actions:

Truly yesterday's 'gone tomorrow' politician, still struggle for some delusional self-importance.
One of the two 'sellers' on ebay, had on offer 49, which sold out by 11.30am. Have a look at what he sold them for:

But according to the firs feedback he's recieved, he's been let down by his suppliers !
Hopefully he's going to get his fingers burnt over this and his feedback trashed.
Yes, apparently the camera and video recording isn't very good, but that's offset by some minor features:
"The 2Mp auto-focus camera is a very basic affair and will only record video at 175 x 144 @ 15fps but to counter that the call quality, rear speaker and signal reception are all excellent."
I guess it's good that it's functionality as a phone even got mentioned, but why can't call quality and signal strength be discussed near the top of, your know all PHONE reviews ?
I've investigated the Facebook cookies and this is what I've found:
I have numerous website tabs opened in Opera, that start up before I connect my ADSL, so the webpages load from cache and the cookies don't get updated as there's no connection. One of the opened pages is facebook, so when online I refresh it and check the facebook cookies from within the browser, there's 12 of them, all but one updated, showing "lasted visited" time of when I reloaded the page. So I log out of facebook, and the time of the cookies is updated.
Then a couple of minutes later I refresh a random page, happen's to be a DM page about the Queen and quess what, ALL 12 facebook cookies have updated time lasted visited to exactly when I refresh the page.
