I have already seen gameplay of two next gen games I want, Watch Dogs looks good, and I must have Killzone Shadowfall.
The Sony presentation included five minutes of real play with no backup, then uploaded to the internet.
Why didn't MS do similar?
We are getting PS4
Pictures vs text been having a look at various software here in the office.
Well what does a frying pan mean?
Or a yellow nose?
Or a combine harvester?
Various old bits of card in different colours?
Hover over them and......
What does a frying pan have to to with searches?
What does a yellow nose have to do with reminders?
Or a combine with printing?
Pair of company phones here, one Symbian and the replacement Android. OK Still using the N8 at the moment.
1) They are work phones
2) Screens are small
3) Why do I want another phone just for games, when I have work ones to call on?
4) My little portable game console, has twin analogue sticks and great games.
Now my favourite single player games are the Uncharted series, I want an Uncharted game - I have one.
Currently playing a PSP game on it.
I also like Killzone multiplayer - what is out in September a portable Killzone multiplayer.
When I bought mine there was well too many models, found 5 46" TVs
Cheap sub HD, S and P ranges, overpriced crap.
W and X series - they look nice, how much for an X series!!??!!
W series - hmm that is marketed at me, full HD, great picture quality, looks nice, not too expensive, but quite a bit more than the cheap TVs.
I saw all 4 playing same material and it was crap crap excellent excellent.
So as Pioneer plasmas (only plasma TV I like) was too expensive off to look at Sony W series TVs.
Two models !!!!!!!!!
Now they could have cut that range down to cheap overpriced crap (S), more expensive but better value enthusiast (W), and rich person (X).
Yes I own a W series LCD and the picture is still excellent, got a free 5 year guarantee as well.
Used them due to issues with previous ISP which was swallowed up and screwed my ISDN, BT mainly as quickest to change me from ISDN to ASDL.
Stayed with them simply due to effort in changing, Threatened to move over Phorm.
Infinity is a good package.
No one is likely to buy them.
BTW I am a Murdoch hater as well.
Well my downloads are almost all TV, often from BBC stuff I forgot to record, or not on Iplayer.
But then there are series which never made the UK.
There is ITV deliberately not showing episodes (Pushing Daisies).
There is pay TV poaching the series off the FTA channels. In fact my first ever torrent was the Farscape final mini series which the BBC were outbid for, as I have the entire series on DVD I was not waiting for that, so USTV rip downloaded. No one lost out as I have the DVD of it a few months later on day of release.
Oh then I wanted to watch a film in HD, no BluRay available so I downloaded the HD-DVD rip and played it off my BluRay players HDD, I just wish I had my burner then - that would have been much funnier. (I have the burner as I have HDV as well).
BTW my media includes a few hundred DVDs, about 60 BluRays, about 50 Beta tapes, and I have never pirated a game, I have downloaded no CD patches but not pirated.
We have just got one at work, and it is driving our support chap mad, he cannot find anything, TIKFAM just gets in the way, classic shell will be going on as soon as it can connect to our server. Our last 4 Windows 7 PCs were set up in minutes in comparison.
As an aside, I converted a home PC to dual boot with Linux, now I do not know the OS I am just trying it out, and I am sure it was easier to set up for a Windows user. My next test is Wine. After that we are going to try it at work.
So when you get Windows users hating it and wanting to migrate things are bad.
I find the type of music tends to expose compression.
My kit is mid range, I use a DVD player as a CD player, it also plays SACD and DVD-Audio. Through a decent mid range AV receiver and a set of HiFi speakers.
I also have a Minidisc recorder.
CD isn't perfect, DVD-A and SACD, do sound better, I can just tell the difference between MD and CD.
I have some MP3 CDs in the car, 128 dreadful, 192 OK, haven't tried higher in the car.
But I find the worse the source the more is lost, you can't really hear it but feel it.
Where I live the opposition party has gone down this route, she seems a bit useless, council manager, being really hyped up by her party.
Currently got a chap whose father was the MP in the 70s and is also the only political person to door to door in the last 5 years.
I would not say menial, possibly boring, but a good source of income for students and without insulting them people whose partner is the major wage earner (eg part time mums on tills.)
My wife always gets chatting with them, till staff appreciate it.
And they hate the till messages more than us!
Stupid idea - you just get the worst. Look at the so called Blair babes.
Make it open to best PERSON.
Just to annoy the inadequates who like these short lists, how come a woman became Prime Minister without them, and women chosen using them have been invariably useless.
I am very in favour of EQUAL opportunities as the best person not the best man / woman / alien / teapot ect
Horrible things, tried a few.
I was recommended to use one to save queueing.
Take your item and wave it, doesn't register or you have to put it in a certain spot, next item ignored because I hadn't done something else. Look stupid piece of junk I put item in front of scanner then the next, anything else I am not interested in.
I just abandoned and queued for a human - it was quicker.
Just get stuffed automatic till, much quicker to use a checkout person, their scanners just beep and let them get on with it. You can talk to them if you want.
Argos - would not let me order an item - had to go to till so why bother.
B&Q rejected my card, normal till took it.
I make a point now of NOT using them, if I want to buy something without human interaction I will buy on line
Your list is missing a powerful handheld with a few really good games. The Vita, I see you have the PSP.
OK I am playing PSP games on mine, but Unit13 is fun, as is UC GA.
We have a few here
Megadrive, SNES, Dreamcast, PS2, Wiiiiiiiii, PS3, Gameboy, DS x 2, PSP, Vita x 3.
Interesting that no-one is bothered about the Wiii-U
Ever jumped off a bike and into a car, put it this way it wasn''t until I drove one with a rev counter I found that I was revving high mileage 1300cc Astras to 8000rpm. It was still accelerating and was not revving too hard - for a biker.
When I got to cars I had an old push rod lumped thing 6000rpm red line, but when fitted with the correct cam and springs safe to about 7000rpm (sports model was known for this red line lower than maximum power). So I would happily take my ancient 1600cc hatch to 6500rpm, jumped into the same size engine Sierra, err why was the red line so low, I would have red lined it so easily?
Rev counters are usefull when driving vehicles with substantially lower rev bands than your own vehicle.
