Some of my favourites, Blink rightly no. 1.
Not a fan of Gridlock.
Would like to have seen the Library episodes in the list.
Best ever part of a series were three episodes in a row.
1) Human Nature
2) Family of Blood
3) Blink
Most good DW in a row.
Moffat definately best New DW writer
Have you thought that the game companies are in one big industry and can get on with each other?
Sony's head of studios Shuhei Yoshida loves Nintendo games and has two Wii Us
Xbox manager Larry unpronoucable surname loves Naughty Dog games.
A lot of Naughty Dog staff play Halo and a lot of Bungie Staff play Uncharted.
Saturday evening TV
Not too bad, shows like Doctor Who, Merlin, Atlantis, all pretty good to watch. Last Saturday I watched Atlantis (It has Dr Julian Bashir in it!) then a recording of Cold War Hot Jets Ep1 from Friday.
Or do you mean shITV?
Don't watch that - looks like a shitty satellite channel.
Osborn - I suppose he had gone strange but I remember he was good back in the 80s
My dad told me all about them as at the time he was a BMW mechanic and liked to do a good job.
Unfortunately BMW GB messed around and caused the dealership to close (it was taking work from other dealers due to their incompetence - so use the independant!).
He ended up working on Skodas until retirement and found a design flaw in the braking system on one model. Something to do with tolerances on the master cylinder and the servo.
No idea on my first flight as that was on a RAF Comet
But a few years ago I went to Belfast from Birmingham.
Driving licence was taken but I don't think it was even checked.
Ferry to Ireland Fishguard Rosslaire - just drove on and off, get excited by 100 limit then told km/h not mph
Talking adverts can sod off.
I hate the bloody things.
I even hate those motorised ones which waste electricity with their motors changing the advert.
As far as I am concerned the whole advertising industry can die.
We used to have good ones (Hovis ect)
Actually the vouchers can be pretty silly and not used, but the points are always worthwhile, if there was something I wanted to get but not want Tesco to find out about, just don't use the card, or shop elsewhere.
Perhaps when they see the alcohol I buy they may think to keep it in stock, yes I do go to small producers (eg Westons) not mass produced syrup based rubbish (eg most big names) and I TRY to buy British.
When it is 5p off a litre I pass the vouchers off to collegues as I use LPG mainly.
But remember the shopper controls the club card data.
I actually avoided using Tescos for over a year a few years ago despite living near one. I refused to go in, and I let them know why.
They had stupid irritating TVs on all the aisles, staff hated them as well.
I think the slight drop in visitors helped rip them out.
Then their stupid trolleys with handles full of adverts. It is possible to snap them off!
Definately the best was to avoid the place.
Now to their petrol. Nasty stuff, my car runs like a pig on it, yet is fine on BP, Shell or Esso.
Upscaling from 720 to 1080
Does it matter if the TV or the console does it?
It is still upscaling rather than native resolution.
Yes the XB1 is running at the same resolution as lots of current generation games.
Also 720 and 1080 are obviously different on my 46" TV
XB1 to me is not quite next generation, I am even wondering if it can beat this generation!
Apart from owning some 1980s VCRs of that format (still working) I have rarely tried to use any other sound track but that of the game itself.
With the quality and suitability of the supplied ones, it would be wrong to do it.
HOWEVER I did once try to use an external from game sound for multiplayer but it would not use it as I needed chat.
The music was the download of the games sound track.
Thankyou for supporting our language.
I see plenty of really bad English and about half the time I cannot even understand it. So what chance do second language speakers have?
I get sub human grunts as emails for Ebay sales, sometimes I ingnore them, often I deliberately misread them until they get it into their tiny brains that they need to write in English and not the written form of grunting.
Dump film music, keep games, take TV HiFi Camera ect up market again and drop the cheap crap.
I have a lot of decent Sony stuff, none of it was cheap.
One of the worst LCD TVs I have seen - cheap Sony, best, expensive Sony, you would not think they were same manufacturer.
My 1982 portable video recorder still works!
Yes I am old enough to remember they were premium and worth the premium, they still have the odd product like this, but they have to stop competing against the Koreans and start competing on quality rather than price again.
They need to remember why people bought Trinitron TVs, and it was NOT the price
People mention multiple universes, could dark matter be that?
My personal idea is that dark matter and dark energy are not actually there, but are the equivalents of an adjustment to make things fit. Basically that spacetime is not fully understood.
But like most people I am waiting for the scientists to letus know.
