Never understood why MDMA and Cannabis are illegal rather than controlled and taxed.
Banning as messed up Cannabis (high strength rather than well grown) and Extasy.
I have known users of both and I found being in the company of dope smokers preferable to cigarette smokers.
Kinect had a silly name and silly games, a few good ones but was too early to market. Also lack of buttons.
Move worked but was overshadowed by Wiiii and Kinect, and not helped by lack of game support, or occasional poor implementation. COD and BF would have pushed it mainstream.
I will admit to being a Move user, for First Person Shooters, but most sheep played COD and BF, not Killzone nor Resistance.
That is an issue, Ginsters is better than 3 but not as good as 1.
It seems strange defending them, but when you live miles from Cornwall and get the urge, sometimes it is the only way to get a fix.
Better a Ginsters than a Pork Farms.
When in Cornwall loads of decent Pasties, would not even look at a Ginsters, let alone eat one.
A few things
Pasty Crimping
It really depends who is doing it, Can be along the top or the side, but more concerned for the pastry than over the way it is crimped.
Different people do it different ways, depends who they learnt from.
My mum did them along top and offset. Just get the ingredients correct.
Ginsters
Now a quandary, yes they are a Cornish pasty, yes they are not that good, but a huge BUT.
They are better than the rubbish produced by many other producers around the UK, much much better. Wrong pastries, wrong meats, added carrots, really cheap ingredients. When you get guff like this even a Ginsters pasty is nice.
So the best way to describe a Ginsters pasty is OK, BTW their steak slices are pretty gruesome!
I find Rowes are pretty good, some of the small bakery ones can quite variable in quality, one day very good the next unedible. Have had this with a producer in the Lizzard.
I still regret the passing of the Falmouth Pasty Co chain as theirs were good, and available up here!
But if you are on holiday and find a good supplier, remember them for future use.
Bloody impossible to work out.
Had lots of moans about reports not working while testing software, because none of us could get our heads around the dates.
"Why is 24/04/16 an invalid date?"
"Why is a report from 01/04/16 to 01/05/16 empty? I put on loads of orders for today."
Was a simple code change but a nightmare to test.
Imperial was easy in comparison. Just a matter of scale. And making sure all rounding was consistant. Putting floating point mm into integer mm pushed to wrong 1/16".
When the modifications are not huge, or are for health reasons (such as John Innes tomatoes) there is very little to object over. I would personally welcome developments like this.
But I personally would avoid food with modifications to cope with extreme amounts of pesticide, or where cross kingdom (fish in grain)
I know the feeling,I do not update FF any more as currently it i working and I do not know what will be broken next,
I hate Google Chrome as there is no menu and no search bar.
Firefox looks like a browser.
Window caption
File Edit Menus
Address bar & search bar
Row of proper tabs
Took a LOT of work to restore this appearance. And a couple of years ago looked like this out f the box.
I had to remote onto a Win10 PC this week, what a horror.
