You would think BT could do it themselves.

As one of the inventors of the electronic computer you think they would be able to do it themselves. Perhaps AWS works out cheaper.

I prefer Libre Office, it follows GUI standards so I can use it easily.

As to latest Word, two feature annoy.

Cursor going left when you type, looks very odd.

Save dialog is broken, so I just copy to name and location I want and empty it.

I do not have time to work through their arcane interface, I have more important things to do.

Re: Linux "Desktop"

Two main reasons for Windows insistence

Reason 1 MS Orifice

Lots of companies use it and insist on it.

Reason 2a 2b WIN32/WIN64

So much software uses this API

I actually dislike MS Office, it is a very weird UI

Dishwashers. No Engine washers

Unless you do a lot of vehicle rebuilds are they worth it?

I could get my last car cylinder heads in one, but this current car no.*

But if you are rebuilding bike engines useful bits of kit.

But here a washing up bowl and fairy liquid deals with dishes in less time than it takes to load and unload a motor vehicle engine component washer.

Not saying who it is as both my friend and I could be IDed from it. The TV person borrowed his car!

Re: There goes the business case

I quite often create female characters in games, or play them.

People sometimes get silly with them.

Those people are very very stupid.

I like to mix things up, some games the characters look silly as male, with third person you can stare at a female bum rather than a male bum. Some have slightly different story details.

In recent weeks I have played games as a tall robot, a short soldier woman, an irish middle aged assassin, a woman with magic.

A biker.

An undead human with a lot of guns, a machine with human conciousness who punches stuff, a space magic wielding woman who is a funny colour.

Next game will be a choice, will probably go for the man despite the woman VO work being better.

Oh and I still need to finish the last Uncharted game.
