Telegram messaging app blocks some 'public' ISIS-related channels

Alistair Swanson

How will that trap them?

If you make it "public knowledge" that they'll be grassed up, terrorists/sympathisers will not use the service so no scumbags will be caught.

As a better idea, they could just put it in the terms and conditions of use and then use it to spy on terrorists/sympathisers, meaning that ~90% of them won't realise they are being spied upon...

Rendering issue?

Your other comma between "agreement" and "which" seems to have dropped down a couple of lines and now looks like an ill-placed apostrophe in "commas".

They should probably re-write the sentence.

Rules are rules

If you say you are going to do something, then do it. There seem to be a lot of downvotes on here from people who disagree with that principle.

Were all the downvoters complaining about Google's policy 91 days ago too? That would have been a more appropriate time to raise your concerns.

Half a million cars per day?

Google offers Adwords deals - but you can't trust their numbers

Stop

Assumptions

The probability of picking a red marble is 3/5 and there are 15 marbles, therefore 9 of the marbles must be red?

How very presumptuous of people to assume that Google are wrong.

Could the marbles be different sizes/weights/temperatures?

Could the contents of the bag be visible so people’s preferences to colour may affect the results?

Could not picking a marble be an option?

This is clearly Google’s way of saying that adwords is a black box and you just need to trust them at their word.

Tesco carparks

Spotted one going backwards and forwards 3 times in the carpark at Tesco in Springburn, Glasgow.

Turns out they were just trying to park rather than streetview the whole carpark.
