Have you seen Sky's revenue!

Almost 7 billion quid not enough to make quality programmes?
Of course it is but they still choose to chase sport and movies because that is where the profit lies.
Did a temp job years ago changing Dunhill batteries.
Once we'd got the back off (special tool), changed that battery and put the back on again we'd then plug a compressed air cylinder into a valve on the watch case and give it a blast of air while dunking the watch in a bath of fluid.
If there were no bubbles it was good to go.
Latest from IAEA:
"Attempts to return power to the entire Daiichi site are also continuing. After explosions at both units 1 and 3, the primary containment vessels of both units are reported to be intact. However, the explosion that occurred at 04:25 UTC [4.25am GMT] on 14 March at the Fukushima Daiichi unit 2 may have affected the integrity of its primary containment vessel. All three explosions were due to an accumulation of hydrogen gas. A fire at unit 4 occurred on 14 March 23:54 UTC and lasted two hours. The IAEA is seeking clarification on the nature and consequences of the fire. The IAEA continues to seek details about the status of all workers, reactors and spent fuel at the Fukushima Daiichi plant. "
When in a hole; stop digging!
...albeit many moons ago. It would help if the civil service actually paid something akin to market rates for developers.
Anyone with any talent left as soon as soon as they realized they could double their salary by moving into the private sector. I enjoyed my job there but succumbed to the lure of the lucre.
Having worked in the MoD Procurement Executive and been involved in the assumptions thing (Long Term Costing it was called then) it was not the poilitcians who made these sort of decision.
Sure the politicians (via the Treasury) decided what the overrall budget was and it was the Minister who signed the final document BUT the comittee who ultimately decided what went into the budget and what came out was chaired and largely made of the military.
IF the decision is made to scrap the chinooks than poeple responsible for that decision will be the top brass of the services. Sure Cameron can question that decision but, ultimately, he will probably have to take the advice of the heads of the services.
It is the military top brass who have decided to keep prestige weapons at the expense of the useful workhorses and this has been that case for years. Why they do this is one of the great mysteries.
He thought these new jobs would appear in online shopping.
Quite why you need a 1GB line to use online shops is a bit of a mystery.
He also said that BBC is helping to pay because of iPlayer demand.
Why stop there eh? Using his logic than all online businesses should help pay for the new infratructure.
The man is an idiot as well as a *unt
Having said that Mr Robbins was an idiot for engaging in a flame war with somebody who approaches the climate change issue with same intellectual rigour as Jeremy Clarkson.
Amongst climate scientists it is only a debate in the same way that Evolution vs. Intelligent Design is a debate. The only climate scientists casting doubt on man-made climate change are those funded by the fossil fuel and automotive industries.
Make of that what you will
Sure it is fun once, maybe twice at a push. We had this this years ago on three and my wife and i video called each other once each to test and that was that:
a. You look like a twat
b. You can't walk (mind that lamppost), pretend to work, pick your nose etc.
c. You have to TALK LOUDLY (twat factor again)
d. Skype is better and more comfortable.
but most importantly in this case, all your friends need to have apple kit.
Aaah - think i get the point now
"It's the last ball of the 2015 Ashes series.
It is really coming to the boil here at the Oval. The series is level at 2-2 and England need 2 to win from the last ball.
The bowler is back to his mark...
He turns...
in he comes - up to the stumps and.."
GLOP GLOP SQUELCH
"...amazing this the most exciting series I have ever "
GLOP GLOP SQUELCH
".. have won"
Fantastic idea I reckon
Not surprised with this - The previous company I worked for employed a nice wheeze to save money on Weblogic by using Express for production and parking Apache in front of it so you never breached the ip address limits.
Looks like they'll have to shell out for the full product now.
Nice one Larry.
