Memo man Damore is back – with lawyers: Now Google sued for 'punishing' white men

She's pushing the claim that she is Transracial. That you can identify as a different ethnicity than the one you actually are.

.... And the rantings of this particular brand of lunacy only seem to matter and only gets reported because too many people spend too much time on "social media" immersed in a torrent of globalised stupidity rather than going to the pub and rant & rave impotently like a normal, healthy, person does.

The *trajectory* towards a strong and perhaps even colourful impact on those rocks at the bottom of the cliff is stable - which is pretty much what the May-bot actuator and communications unit actually means (the personality matrix is obviously stored in a secure facility that used to be targeting Moscow and has now been repurposed).

Since "it has been decided" to smash the country onto the rocks and grab whatever spills out, like the worlds biggest piñata party, ballistic guidance is still the best system for the job: It can't be interfered with, it cant be reasoned with, it can't be bargained with - and it will not stop, Ever, until millions are Dead on the NHS or Impoverished!

Re: Tax Laws

They just happen to be using laws not in the manner intended when the laws were written.

They are using the laws they paid for *exactly* as intended!

Both the government and corporate lobbyists have exclusive access to the very best tax lawyers of the land and we are supposed to believe that they, only in this very specific area, are a bunch of screw-ups who makes unfixable "mistakes"!?

The only fear the government has is the "democratisation" of tax avoidance - the cat is out of the bag so to speak, when every country competing on lowering those "barriers to business" and automation in the form of multi-nation 9.99 EUR/Month accounting support systems available to anyone with web browser and a CC. Eventually even a lowly self-employed plumber can incorporate in, f.ex. Estonia, for a small fee and not pay tax in the UK exactly in the same way that the big, bad, corporations already do today (and paid lavishly for also). Exclusivity is rapidly being lost!

And who would need the special services of Westminster then? All those good hunting trips, seminars at Aruba, F1 tickets and what-not .... Gone! Never to Return!!

Quite a bind for "our" politicians - they somehow have to unwind most of the bennies they gave to their special friends to regain their bargaining power and raise their value in "the market". Biting those hands that feed them, at least for a while, while promising to devise new scams for their special friends and supporters "later". Quite a hard sell, one would think.

Your future data-centre: servers immersed in box full of oil, in a field

fajensen
Flame

How good a Solvent is it?

Transformer oil will quite happily dissolve or swell some types of plastic and rubber. This could be a problem if nobody told the ITX board builders that their boards will be dunked in oil.

The dielectric constant would be higher too, meaning the impedance of tracks in contact with the oil will change - is this significant enough to matter? Who knows?

They need to have expansion space for the oil and some removal of water, silica gel usually, like one does with a normal power transformer.

I kinda suspect that the "certified for oil" ITX-boards will be more than expensive enough to eat any savings on "the environment" - or - one does the usual IT QA process: Slap it together and fire that sucker up, if it runs long enough to bore the tester, it's Golden.

Re: "The new rules apply to naturalized citizens of the United States and new immigrants"

Yes, "we" DO do second-class citizens. They are, for example, the ones growing up to become stupid by drinking leaded water because a trillion-dollar 1'st economy somehow cannot afford to change some crappy pipes which just happens to be installed where all those 2'nd / 3'rd class people can afford to live. Some squillonaire liberal Hillary-supporter might have to wait two weeks to buy another island if "we" were fiscally irresponsible like that.

Everything "we" do to some special minority is the test-run for what will be done to everyone, eventually. Therefore I don't see really the logic behind why anyone can seriously expect to be treated any better, or even different, from the Japs by an administration who is at permanent undeclared war with everything and everyone, everywhere once "the fronts" shift and one is stuck in the middle of it!

Re: Never understood the obsession with ICBMs

rules by terror and is doubtless loathed by most of its population

This is not how people out in the real world works. What most people actually want is Meaning and Purpose, something that can convince them that their existence is not useless, futile and wasted. This "rule by terror thing" is totally subjective - if there are predictable rules and stable structures yielding predictable outcomes, then people will see the meaning and buy into the project.

The Roman Empire, Medieval Catholic Church, Sharia Law - people are totally fine with those kinds of terror and totalitarianism. The rebellion comes when the rulers become corrupt and capricious so that the structure and order decays, outcomes become unpredictable, not over any atrocities; that's family entertainment, in many cases.

The North Koreans no doubt love their great leader for purging the weak, protecting them from the evil Americans and generally making the sun rise each and every morning. Every North Korean alive has had a grandparent who was bombed or napalmed by the Americans, it will not be the Americans they will seek out for protection.

Kim Young Un made one mistake though in killing his relatives. It shows people that Gods can be killed, which is never a good thing for the current God and it is capricious too, outside of the normal rules which will lead to doubts, also not a good thing for the current God.

AhEm - Obama chose to double-down and scale-up on just about every, single, stupidity and past or ongoing crime against humanity that Bush/Cheney started (as well as some of the evil originating with Clinton, like financial deregulation and war on drugs).

Obama did all this because he knew that if he had actually changed anything apart from adding more zeroes to the already meaningless numbers representing the bank balances of corporate sponsors and adding a few more wars and regime changes, he would have been replaced.

I have never understood America's xenophobia and attitude towards immigrants and foreigners, when you consider the entire country consists of immigrants and foreigners.

1 part Projection - Americans rightly fear that those foreigners, once they become many / strong enough, will simply treat Americans exactly like Americans treat everyone who are not Americans but just happens to have something some rich American wants (or just bought a used cellphone from the wrong person)!

1 part Common Sense - If you are an immigrant, having somehow "made it" or at least having a decent time, then it is stupid and counterproductive for you to support the arrival more people like you, who, because they are like you, will be going for the same "living space". Competition is only a nice thing to have when playing a game of sports!

and

1 part History - Mass Immigration didn't work out so well for the American Indians, maybe it will work out the same way for the current American tribes?
