Nokia chief: Mobile superiority coming to America

Gary

Nokia to shake up

As a European dead set on supporting European companies (why i buy Nokia) along with the fact they can do a lot more than a iPhone can, why are Nokia succeeding to America, they have the lowly CDMA system and not much GSM, if Nokia sell out like this i will be walking.

Why don't Nokia just stop messing around, merge the Music/Downloads/Software downloads/stores into one place, this will KILL iPhone app store, make it downloadable over the air and you have yourself a killer store.

Do on to you as you do on to others, nothing wrong with what the Journalists did it's all in line with the event, so what are they whining about? The Journalists shouldn't be tried under the laws, hope they slate the Black Hat events.

Friendly Fire

Well you know the US are known for their trigger happy friendly fire :) But makes you wonder how they can preach to other countries when they are lax about their own Nuclear management, that's the big deal here.

Apple's Windows Developments

I have several PC's all running iTunes and Quicktime and get real guys it hardly uses up any memory!! all working hunky dory here.

That's even on my dad's Athlon XP 2400+ / 1gb Ram

Hell I even run it on my server as a media server.

Please.... People go on about Quicktime being bloatware, i dont think they quite understand the power that quicktime holds. Look at your TV, a lot of things won't have been created if it weren't for Quicktime.

And yes i do own a Macbook Pro, i gotta say that Quicktime / iTunes / Safari do run a lot better on the Mac than they do on the Windows platforms. (I have about 5 PC's + 1 Mac, + 3 Mac laptops in the household).

Point note: Neither Firefox 2.x or IE7 Pass the Acid2 tests but safari does.

I've used Safari, and though it looks fugly on Windows its a real nice browser on Mac. I prefer Opera on Windows and Safari on OSX Maybe it's something to do with Apple's nicely scaling font system / pdf rendering engines i dunno.

Peace.
