I hope Jones looses this, just reading his feedback should be enough to know that you are not always going to get what is advertised. Saying it is a business - I hope he is paying his taxes because sticking your head about the turret will get it shot off by the taxman.

Looks like another Apple tie-in rip off.

Bit like getting rid of firewire on MacBooks to make people buy the MacBook Pro - that's great service!! The customers really don't think so, Apple are pulling any criticism from their forums - that's good customer service?

I have as many performance problems with my two Mac's as I do with two XP machines. I think that the Apple share of the market will reduce as money gets tighter, they really are not worth the extra and repairs cost the earth.

I also find I am beta testing Apple software (not saying M$ are angels) , they do update often but then it is fixing bugs from the last release.

The followers have their heads in the sand over security. The first serious OS X virus will take down all but a few Mac's

The tutors are little help as well. More wrapped up in their own self importance than helping & advising.

Mac FanBoys

The silly thing is, if you mention a problem with any piece of Apple equipment on an equivalent site you will be shot down in flames within seconds. Apple keep releasing crap and and the Fanboys just lap it up.

Buying Apple

They really are not that much better and the added extras of sending your phone off to have the battery changed for you just make it a bit of a joke. I have 2 real mac's and my hackintosh runs faster.

Still not sold

The OS looks good - but - the camera is rubbish, the security is rubbish, the major iPhone & iPod touch problems highlighted on Mac sites, the built in software blacklist and the need to send off the phone to change the battery make it a real non-starter for me.

A nice shiny toy.
