First off minors have less rights than adults. Secondly it was done in school. Schools have the right to confiscate items from students that is on the prohibited list . Here is another twist. Do to the rabid nature of the anti drug people, it was decided in some states that a minor would have no legitimated use for pagers /cell phones in school setting . There for the made it illegal for minors to have them on school grounds

Whoa there buddy. polygraph are not admissible in a court of law in the US. The only people that can be forced to take a poly are CIA, NSA ,FBI, or any one else whose job deals with national security. Then the poly is used for pre-employment questioning, and then for internal investigations to see weather you want to fire the guy or proceed with criminal charges .

You have been watching to much TV. You are limited to how many jurors you can get rid of with out cause. Once you reached that number you must show cause(give a valid legal reason), and you cant say it because you think he/she is bias. Its up to the judge what cause is .
guess they're doing it in the US only simply because the US system allows them to screw their workers over like that, whereas civilized countries that aren't trying hard to return to the days of slave labour tend to make such actions a little more difficult.

Well lately I have been getting stuff that was written by some who seems like they are a native English speaker . But they have tale tale signs. The people that should be prosecuted are the ones that keep on feeding them. Like Ms Bee said its mental condition. Feeding them beyond what the need after they can't move is the same as leaving and elder person in fecal soaked clothing. Only Difference is you would have compassion for an elderly person that has lost their mental faculties .
