Ordered from Amazon back in june nice and cheep due to the M$ rebaty thing, Now the posties are on strike and I wont be getting it for a few more days if it ever arrives, Not happy in any way shape or form..

Oh at last

Well for a change looks like M$ are going the right way and putting their priceing at a point where their OS is actually realistic for the average home user as well as the enthuseast where as vista was just way to expensive initially so was hardly taken up in reality.

Win7 ultimate for me when its out as I do like it and have been using the RC since it was released.

From what I can see the smaller footprint of the OS means less HD space used with bloat more things in memory being used rather than taking up memory and doing nothing, Less stuff backed up when the system fails ( itl happen some time ) less things that could possabilly go wrong thus making the admins life easier.

Wonder if they can do the same for vista .......

School my son goes to uses this sort of system, Thing is when his bus to school is late registration is bypassed and its straight to assembily,

Bus is late alot, Guess how many texts / phone calls me and my wife get along the lines of " Your son is not in school why ? " my usual answer " Were the buses late today go check assembily " you would think they would have learnt by now.

Stop sign, Because we need to stop all this namby pamby bowing to the retarded do gooders and use our brains for a change.

I usually go down to my local scrap dealer and get him to use an oxy cutting torch on my old HD's . Seeing them go up in smoke and end up in a molten pile is good enough for me.

Try playing an online game with tiscali at peak time it's just not going to happen, Apparently online games move huge wads of graphical data up and down the connection when your playing, That was what i was told when I made a help desk call for a friend.

Needless to say ive been using a diffrent supplier and have allways warned friends who not to use.
