Oh Hell. Remember the glory days of Demon Internet? Well, now would be a good time to pick a new email address

Re: 158.152.63.2??

I can echo the recommendation for A&A. I've used them for years. Not the cheapest, but you pay for what you get, service with clue.

Clever planning...

...means you can integrate a generator without losing too much space. I've done works on buildings where they've had gensets on the roof, and in underground plant rooms. I've even brought generators in to these sites as a backup while work was undertaken on the primary set, but normally n+1 is chosen where they can!

Betfair...

I managed to place a bet about a week or so ago for £5 on Any Other Party gaining a majority at 770-1. It has subsequently dropped down to around 50-1.

If the lib dems make it into a majority, I stand to make about £3.8k!

Photographers Rights

The following site has some very useful information on your rights in the UK as a photographer, I carry a copy of it in my camera bag :)

Car Radios

I'm told Ford will be making the jump to DAB in new cars soon, which should act as a further catalyst for the digital switch - IMHO that's where most people listen to Radio normally outside of the workplace. One of the best DAB channels is best suited for the Car - Traffic, run by the Highways Agency - it's a god-send when you're stuck in a traffic jam for no apparent reason on the motorway, because they actually tell you what's going on!

re: ToS

Whilst they could change their ToS, if the practice is deemed illegal, they can't exclude themselves from prosecution for it by putting it in the ToS

Tarred with the brush...

What I hate about the whole "4x4's are wrong" attitude we have at the moment, and I'm fed up of the w*nkers who keep leaving fake parking tickets on my 4x4 when it's parked on a main road. Yes, ticket the idiots a few doors down who have 4x4's as people carriers/chelsea tractors, but the vehicles like mine which are a) signwritten as a business vehicle, and b) obviously used for towing and off road shouldn't be tarred with the same brush. It just annoys me! Don't even get me started on the congestion charge, or the LEZ stuff which costs our company hundreds of pounds every time we need to take the truck into the greater london area.

Non-Emergency Numbers

Are actually quite hard to find, I eventually found the local (Avon & Somerset) website buried away on their website, and it's come in handy several times with regards to traffic lights out and other minor things that *clearly* don't require tying up a 999 line.

Some of us out there do think :)

It's sad that diseases like these always affect the people who deserve it least!
