Who's in charge?

Because they consider themselves to be "Authorities", rather than Councils to be voted in (and out) by citizens, Councils seem to believe they can do whatever they wish.

A puzzle

Does the Information Commissioner have a phone at home or a mobile in his pocket. If he does why does he sit waiting for reports? Then take the length of time equal to having a baby before acting. Or is he the only person in the UK who NEVER gets nuisance calls? While the rest of us are TPS registered AND use call-blockers and still get the calls.

I'm looking for a gentle undemanding night-watchman type of job. So when does he retire?

A small overlooked point

There is no British law, is there? There is Scots law. There is English law. Each different in definitions of admissibility. Should we start this debate again from the beginning?

Look, It's all very simple

Ensure that all BT Executives, Directors and the like are limited to the minimum quality of service provided by their Company, including of all their noms de plumes such as Openreach, Plus.net, etc.

Ensure that all BT offices are provided only with that same limited service.

Once they all enjoy those reductio as absurdum levels, watch them run.

I've only just noticed that EE is a subsidiary of BT Group. Might as well throw their quality of service into the mix too.

Transfer the responsibility to the TV Licence chaps and see how the job could/should be done. Just how many "warnings", with a straight face and no shame, do they issue before actually taking action?

I would suggest that OFCOM require the upgrading of all Market 1 exchanges prior to granting any further enhancement plans concocted by BT or OutRage.

How goes the search for the organisation that can fine OFCOM for the quality of its service? Trading Standards sorted out my problems with 3, but they are ceasing to exist in more and more areas as costs are cut. Alternatives?
