    This story is inaccurate. This issue was reported in accordance with Cisco's public disclosure policy (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/about/security-center/vendor-vulnerability-policy.html) and subsequently patched by Microsoft in June as part of the standard patch Tuesday process. The Microsoft advisory linked in the above narrative includes download links to the patches.
