    The sad thing is that ASD are the perfect group to do stuff to improve cyber security in Australia - something that seems to be lacking from .gov.au down.

    Unfortunately, now that they have been dragged into Dutton's Super Security Department no one will trust them.

    But don't they just have to ask the other members of Five-Eyes (US,UK,NZ,CAN) for their intercepts of Australian citizens? After all, it isn't against US law to intercept/monitor Australian citizens communications, only their own. And usually the same in the other members.

    Betcha they lost the Docs

    They lost the Docs and unable to find them, the Gov cannot implement it.

    forgot to copy them and probably sent the originals docs to the Journo,
