    Glorius Mission, eh ?

Isn't that the one where Chinese pirates had got their hands on a beta copy and were selling it for an impressive amount of money ? A game that is supposed to be free ?

Ah, I love the smell of irony in the morning.

    Sounds like fun

But I would be inclined to worry if/when Glorious Mission II - Liberate Japan comes out.

America's Army gets its own knock off, nice.

11 years later, but still, it's definitely flattering.

China have more in common with the US than they realise. Just like the US, the Communists hid for most of the war and relied on other people (the Guomindang in the Communist's case) to weaken their enemy before charging in at the end and claiming all the credit for 'winning the war'.

I hope the Taiwanese government make a game that shows what 'really' happened.

You'd be speaking German or Australian if it wasn't for the Chinese

Great Leap Forward - the videogame

"Subsist on tree bark and shoe leather from those less fortunate as you watch your family die in this real-time strategy epic!"

The best part would be if you did a mobile version where you could use micropayments to get more bark and leather for your family. There'd be something poetic about people throwing money away in order to more effectively pretend to live in grinding poverty.

    "Thinly veiled communist propaganda"

As opposed to the intro to Home Front, which isn't propaganda at all.

Not saying it isn't bloody good fun, mind.
